Aberlour 1996 Douglas McGibbon 12 Year Old

An independently bottled Aberlour by Douglas McGibbon.

Distilled in  Spring 1996 and aged 12 years in a refill hogshead before bottling in Spring 2008. 

Kyoto Ki No Bi Dry Gin

The first release of their impressive dry gin, distilled at Kyoto Distillery.

A pretty unbeleivable and highly sought after spirit, this gin was released last year in 2016 and was made using a rice spirit base which included some locally sourced botanicals such as yuzu, hinoki wood chips, bamboo leaves, green sansho and gyokuro tea.

The botanicals are split into six flavour groups (Base, Citrus, Tea, Spice, Fruity & Floral and Herbal), and each group is distilled individually before being blended together.

A single barrel, full proof Kentucky straight bourbon with a high rye content mash bill from Jim Beam distillery.

The first edition of Aberlour's triple matured Casg Annamh range. The liquid is a matured in a combination of European oak sherry casks, and two types of American oak.

Casg Annamh means 'rare cask' in Gaelic.

Aberlour A'Bunadh Batch #59 / with Aberlour Book

Aberlour A'Bunadh is produced in the tradition of 19th century single malts from an era when villagers would come to the distillery to collect their dram straight from the cask, often in apothecary bottles obtained from the village chemist. These bottles are the inspiration for the A'Bunadh bottle shape today.

A'bunadh is bottled using only first fill Oloroso sherry butts, this is batch #59 and was released in 2017.

This lot includes a copy of the book 'The Mystery and Magic of Aberlour'.

Astor De Luxe 12 Year Old Scotch Whisky 1970s

A 1970s blended scotch, aged 12 years. An extra sticker on the label possibly declares the vintage to be 1962. While this should be taken with a pinch of salt, it is certainly somewhere in that region.
