Anam na h-Alba is a German import and independent bottlings company that takes its name from the Gaelic for "soul of Scotland." It was founded in 2012 by whisky enthusiast Thomas Skowronek and was the first whisky company of its kind to be established in the Ruhr region. Skowronek also runs an annual festival there called Just Whisky Oberhausen.
The company regularly bottles and releases single cask Scotch and occasionally Irish whiskies. It was also previously the official German agent for the Strathearn single malt brand prior to its acquisition by Douglas Laing & Co.
