Filled into Octave on the 11th of December 2013 this was bottled on the 13th do December 2016.

Craigellachie 1970 Murray McDavid 33 Year Old

Distilled in 1970 and matured for 33 years, this is a fantastically aged independent bottling by Jim McEwan of Bruichladdich fame and signed by him.

Aged in sherry casks before finishing in Roussanne casks.

Speyside Single Malt 1975 Sansibar 40 Year Old / Spirits Shop' Selection

An impressively aged and attractive bottling from an undisclosed Speyside distillery. 

This is a collaborative bottling between Sansibar in Germany and Spirts Shop' Selection in Taiwan. It was aged 40 years in a sherry butt, and bottled in 2015.

One of only 425 bottles drawn from a cask filled in 1975.

Strathisla 1979 Signatory Vintage 36 Year Old Cask Strength

Another well-aged entry to the Signatory Vintage Cask Strength Collection.

Distilled on 4th April 1979, initially matured in a refill butt before being finished for 74 months in an Oloroso sherry cask #1536.

Compass Box The Spaniard 75cl / US Exclusive

The Spaniard is a blended malt from 'whiskymakers' Compass Box. It is named after the bar of the same name in New York City, and the blend is a collaborative effort between the proprietor of said eponymous bar, Mikey McFerran, and Compass Box's John Glaser.

The blend contains mostly sherry matured whisky, from Spanish oak butts, in keeping with the theme. There are also Highland malts matured in French and American oak in the mix, and some Islay malt to add smokiness.

The blend was created in March 2018, and bottled in April the same year.

Classic Cask 1983 Single Batch 17 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon

A 1983 distilled Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled in 2000. 

The Classic Cask label was bottled for a company called Spirit Imports by Kentucky Bourbon Distillers at their Willett distillery. KBD have barrels from all of the major Kentucky plants in their warehouses, however their most common source was neighbouring Heaven Hill.

This Springbank was distilled in July 1975 and bottled by Ian Macleod in August 2003 as part of their Chieftain's range. 

Matured in a bourbon barrel, this is bottle number 186 of 186.

Speyside Single Malt 1975 Antique Lions 41 Year Old / The Birds

A unique and attractive bottling from an undisclosed Speyside distillery. 

Distilled in 1975 and bottled 41 years later as part of the Birds series for Antique Lions Of Spirits (ALOS). The labels are an homage to old Moon Import bottles, and feature lost plates by the same artist, discovered in Pepi Mongiardino's collections.

ALOS was recently formed as a collaborative project between renowned whisky enthusiast and collector, Jens Drewitz and two Italian whisky merchants: Max Righi of Whisky Antique, and Diego Sandrin of Lions Whisky.  Their uncompromising passion for whisky is the drive behind their selection of these whiskies of equally uncompromised quality.

This is one of 230 bottles drawn from a Fino sherry cask.
