Aberfeldy 1974 Douglas Laing 26 Year Old

This is a Douglas Laing era Old Malt Cask release from Aberfeldy distillery.

Distilled in December 1974, matured for 26 years before bottling in May of 2001.

One of 444 bottles.

Ardbeg 1998 Still Young

Ardbeg Still Young was distilled in 1998 and released in 2006, the second release on the ‘path to peaty maturity’.

Wolfburn Mey Games 2018

Located in Thurso, this is the northernmost distillery on the UK mainland. Wolfburn distillery opened in 2013.

This release was bottled for the Mey Games on the 4th of August 2018. Only 120 bottles were produced, this is number 63.

Aberlour 12 Year Old 1980s​

A rare bottle of 12 year old Aberlour, bottled during the early 1980s.

Fratelli Rinaldi import for the Italian market.

Auchroisk 16 Year Old Manager's Dram 2015

The Manager’s Dram series of whiskies were bottled exclusively for employees of what is now known as Diageo.  These whiskies were selected by the respective distillery managers within Diageo malt distilling and bottled at natural cask strength.

Bottled in 2015 as a 16 year old Auchroisk.

Ardbeg Kildalton 2014

This Ardbeg was released in connection with the North Highland Initiative (NHI) a charity which helps rural communities across the Northern Highlands.

Elegantly packaged, it is a combination of first fill and refill ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. Please do not mistake this Kildalton for that which was released in 2004, 10 years previously.

Whistlepig 10 Year Old Single Barrel Straight Rye / PlumpJack

A straight Canadian rye whisky distilled at Alberta Distillers in Calgary and transported to Vermont, USA.

This single barrel rye is hand bottled at Whistlepig farm.

Finished in Bourbon barrels and bottled specially for PlumpJack Wine & Spirits.

Ardbeg Dark Cove Committee Release

The Ardbeg committee release for 2016, this has been matured in ex-bourbon casks with a heart matured in dark sherry casks.

The style has been inspired by the history of illicit distilling on the Island of Islay, many people were involved including Allan and Alexander the uncles of John McDougall founder of Ardbeg distillery.

This is the limited committee release, whereas a more available lower ABV edition was launched for Ardbeg Day/Night. 

Ardbeg Perpetuum Distillery Release

Released in 2015 to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the legendary Islay distillery.

This is the high strength version which was only available at the distillery to Ardbeg Committee Members.

Perpetuum is a blend of old and young whisky which has been matured in both Bourbon and Sherry casks.

Ardbeg Ardbog

Released as Ardbeg’s annual Feis Ile offering at the start of June. Alongside Ardbeg distillery, it was also released at Ardbeg Embassies. 

A vatting of 10 year old Ardbeg matured in bourbon casks with a ‘heart’ matured in Manzanilla sherry casks.

Aberlour A’Bunadh Batch #7

Aberlour A'Bunadh is produced in the tradition of 19th century single malts from an era when villagers would come to the distillery to collect their dram straight from the cask,often in apothecary bottles obtained from the village chemist. Indeed these bottles are the inspiration for the a`bunadh bottle shape today.

Matured exclusively in Spanish Oak Oloroso Sherry butts, the rarest and most precious casks used for maturation and bottled at cask strength, a`bunadh possesses an unrivalled aromatic intensity. A richer mouth fill and flavour complexity is achieved by bottling without the use of modern day chill filtering methods.

Aberlour A'Bunadh Batch #8

Proceeding from Very Young and Still Young, Ardbeg Almost There was the final stage in the journey of young cask-strength Ardbeg 1998 before the Renaissance 10 year old was finally released.

Wolfburn 2014 Private Bottling / Lillion Wine

Located in Thurso, this is the northernmost distillery on the UK mainland. Based around a long lost distillery that ended around 1850, this new Wolfburn opened in 2013. 

This bottle was distilled in 2014 and bottled at 3 years old in September 2017 for Lillion Wine for the Hong Kong Wine and Spirit Fair 2017. 

Matured in a single Spanish oak sherry cask. 

One of 120 bottles. 

Whyte and Mackay 30 Year Old 

Now discontinued, this 30 year old Whyte and Mackay won many awards and was very well regarded.

Ardbeg Blasda

This tamed version of Ardbeg was peated to an average of 8ppm compared to the more usual 24ppm. Rather controversially, the Blasda was also bottled in clear glass, at 40% and has been chill filtered, un-like Ardbeg's other releases which are typically un-chillfiltered and bottled in the iconic green bottle at 46% or above.

Now discontinued and becoming increasingly difficult to find.

Ardbeg 2007 SMWS 9 Year Old 33.135​

\"Peat reek and barbeque char\", distilled on 24th May 2007 then matured in a 2nd fill ex-Oloroso sherry butt.
