Amrut Naarangi

\"Amrut Naarangi the latest offering from Amrut, the 'Naarangi' derives its name from the Hindi word, Naarangi which means \"orange.\" It is the only single malt whisky ever produced in the world to have expressions of orange, which brings forth a new level of experimentation to the malt world.\"

This has been achieved by infusing Oloroso sherry with orange peels for two years, before emptying the cask and filling with Amrut single malt. 

Bottled June 2017. 

Arran 2000 Single Cask 18 Year Old / ArranWhisky.com

A single cask of Arran distilled 20th April 2000 and bottled on 6th June 2018 after 18 years in single Sherry Hogshead #275.

Arran 2001 Private Cask 14 Year Old / Bodegas Tradicion Sherry and Whisky Pairing 2 x 50cl

Distilled in 2001 and matured for 14 years. Initially matured in second-fill ex-Oloroso Hogsheads and finished for 14 months in a Pedro Ximenez cask sourced from Bodegas Tradicion.

This gift set also includes a bottle of the Bodegas's 20 Year Old Pedro Ximenez V.O.S.

Austin's Silver Cat Gin 1960s

An obscure, although un-flashy by todays standards brand of Gin.

Produced for the Italian market, perfect for any cat lovers.

Ardbeg Grooves Limited Edition

The 2018 limited edition release this has been matured in heavily charred casks (presenting a grooved surface hence the name).

Totally groovy and totally not the same thing as the Alligator...

Officially released at the Ardbeg open day during the 2018 Feis Ile.

Aberlour 1992 Whisky Broker 25 Year Old

This is a single cask Aberlour, independently bottled by the Whisky Broker.

Distilled in Speyside in October 1992, it spent 25 years maturing in sherry butt #3921.

Bottled June 2018, this is bottle number 20 of 60. 

Aultmore 1997 Cadenhead's 18 Year Old

Distilled 1997 and then matured for 18 years in a bourbon hogshead before bottling by Cadenhead's.

One of 252 bottles. 

Arran 2000 SMWS 16 Year Old 121.97

A Scotch Malt Whisky Society bottling of Arran, known as 'Feels like heaven'. 

Distilled 20th April 2000 and bottled 16 years later having been aged in an ex-bourbon hogshead before a finishing period in a first-fill French oak hogshead. 

One of 180 bottles.

Arran Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Single Cask 

One of the older single casks releases from Arran, this time the whisky has been matured in a sherry cask before a finishing period in a Montelpulciano d'Abruzzo 'Villa Gemma' cask from the House of Masciarelli. 

Bottled on 22nd November 2005, this is bottle number 36 of 315. 

Ardmore 1996 Bourbon and Islay Cask 20 Year Old​

A single vintage bottling of Ardmore. A marriage of 1st fill bourbon and ex-islay casks aged 20 years.

Given that Laphroaig supplied the quarter casks for the now discontinued Traditional, its a safe bet they contributed the casks for this too. 

Aberfeldy 21 Year Old

A very tasty Aberfeldy first introduced in 2005 and given a lovely 'make-over' in 2014. 

The Aberfeldy Distillery was established just three miles from the birth place of founder John Dewar and was built by the Dewar family. It is steeped in history and craftsmanship.

A stunning orange coloured box from Arran, this was released to celebrate the 15th Anniversary of Arran distillery in 2010.

Distilled in 1999 and finished in Amontillado sherry casks.

Arran 2002 Single Sherry Cask 14 Year Old / Year of the Rooster

Isle of Arran Distillery is one of the few remaining independent distilleries in Scotland. The Distillery is in the village of Lochranza on the North-West tip of the Isle of Arran.

This is a Private Cask bottling for the Taiwanese market, titled Year of the Rooster. Distilled in 2002 and matured for 14 years in sherry cask #550.

Aberlour A'Bunadh Batch #62 / Including Tray

Aberlour A'Bunadh is bottled at cask strength in the tradition of 19th century single malts when villagers would come to the distillery to collect their dram straight from the cask, often in apothecary bottles obtained from the village chemist. These were the inspiration for the A'Bunadh bottle shape today.

A'Bunadh is bottled using only Spanish Oloroso sherry butts, this is batch #62 released in 2018.

This particular lot includes a branded wooden tray.

Arran 2004 Bere Barley Cask Strength​

With only 600 bottles for the UK Market, this was a fantastic release in collaboration with the Agronomy Institute of Orkney College (University of the Highlands and Islands).

Bere is Scotland's oldest cultivated barley and was commonly used until the 20th century for the production of whisky.   This whisky was matured for 10 years in American Oak barrels and bottled at cask strength.
