Distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2016, this has been matured in an ex-Hanyu single cask #1401. 

Specially selected by La Maison du Whisky to celebrate their 60th anniversary.

A fantastic label design once again from Akuto Ichiro.  Bottled exclusively for Asta Morris in Belgium.

Distilled in 2010 and matured in a 1st fill virgin hogshead number 702 before being bottled in 2016.

Chichibu 2009 Original Quarter Cask #388

This is from the new Japanese distillery Chichibu. Distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2014, this has been matured in a Chibidaru cask. 
Chibidaru are similar to quarter casks, the difference being that while Scottish quarter casks just have staves removed, Chibidaru have shortened staves and are repurposed.

Chichibu 2010 Whisky Talk 2015 / Vanishing Animal Owl

Another new and very rare Chichibu distilled in 2010 for Whisky Talk 2015. 

Matured in 1st fill bourbon and a 3rd fill Puncheon.

Clynelish 17 Year Old Manager's Dram 1998

The Manager’s Dram series of whiskies were bottled exclusively for employees of what is now known as Diageo.  These whiskies were selected by the respective distillery managers within Diageo malt distilling and bottled at natural cask strength.

This 17 year old Clynelish was matured in sherry casks and selected by the distillery manager.

Bottled 23rd November 1998.

Chartreuse de Tarragona Yellow Label 1951-1959

Originally created in 1605 by monks using a recipe for an elixir of long life. 

Produced between 1904-1989 in Tarragona (Spain) after the Carthusian Monks were exiled from France. In 1989 the distillery in Tarragona closed down and the production of this liquor returned to France. Nowadays the bottles produce in the distillery of Tarragona have become one of the most expensive and sought after liquors in the world. The recipe contains more than 130 different plants and flowers, the Mediterranean character of the Tarragona distillery is bottled in this unique and limited liquor.

We estimate this bottle to be from the 1950s.

Constantino's Colheita 1910

SVP Constantino was founded in 1877 by Constantino de Almeida who went on to purchase the Quinta do Crasto estate in the Douro Valley.

Colheita Port is similar to Vintage Port in that it is produced from the crop of a single exceptional year.  However, while Vintage Ports spend only a brief 2 years in large oak vats and the majority of their ageing in bottle, Colheita Ports are matured exclusively in smaller oak barrels for as many years as the producer deems necessary - which could be anything from the minimum 7 years, to many decades.

Caperdonich 1972 Duncan Taylor 34 Year Old / Lonach

Distilled in 1972, this Duncan Taylor Lonach bottling is from the closed Speyside distillery Caperdonich and was bottled in 2007. 

This was bottled in 2007 at a cask strength of 43%, the Lonach range are all low strength cask strength bottlings that were in risk of dropping below 40%.

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

Released at an impressive natural cask strength of 60.02%, distilled in 1973 and bottled in October 2000 as a 27 year old.

There were only two releases of Cardhu under the Rare Malt Selection, this is bottle number 2804.

Wolfburn Dornoch Whisky Festival 2016 / Signed by Charlie Maclean

Located in Thurso, this is the Northern most distillery on the UK manland. Based around a long lost distillery that ended around 1850, this new Wolfburn reopened in 2013. 

This release was bottled for the Dornoch Whisky Festival 2016 and signed by whisky writer Charlie Maclean.
