Glenfarclas 1956 Family Cask Autumn 2014 

One of the oldest recent releases in the Family Cask range by Glenfarclas.  This Autumn 2014 released was distilled in 1956 and bottled from a single plain butt #1768 on 9th July 2014.

One of 129 bottles.

Political views aside, these bottlings have become incredibly sought after and recent results of a signed bottle has suprised everyone.  This bottle is signed by the current President-Elect of America, Donald Trump.  

This very rare single cask Glendronach was bottled to commemorate the launch of Trump International Golf Links, Scotland. 

Bottled on the 25th of June 2012 from single cask #1036.

Only 504 bottles were released, each bottle is numbered within the certificate/card inside the box, this is bottle number 251.

Jura 40 Year Old

Distilled on the 12th of November 1966 and bottled 40 years later, making this oldest Jura ever bottled. 

Presented in a delightful leather box, this is the top of Jura's output.

The original press release states the following: 

\"The Isle of Jura 40 Year Old is the rarest amongst one of the four whiskeys Whyte and Mackay Ltd. are proud to include in Their Rare and Prestige Collection This is a single malt whiskey distilled and filled to cask on. the 12th of November 1966. This rare cask has yielded only 98 bottles for global release. The beautiful Isle of Jura lies off the West coast of Scotland and can rightfully claim to be the least populated community in the world to have its own distillery. Pure spring water, clean fresh air and generations of distilling tradition have quietly crafted a sublime and delicate malt.\"

Glenfiddich 40 Year Old Rare Collection

A fantastic 40 year old, produced by Glenfiddich.

Selected by Glenfiddich's Malt Master who hand selects individual casks before marrying them together with what was left over from the previous 40 Year Old vatting; a process known as ‘remnant vatting’.

Glenfiddich claim to be the only distillery to use such a process.

This is the 11th batch which was bottled on the 9th April 2014.

Bottle No. 29 of 600. 

As with so many malts of this age it is presented in an elegant bottle and presentation case made of hand-stitched calf-leather.

Glen Flagler 1973 30 Year Old

A very rare bottling of this long lost distillery that was once part of the Moffat distilling complex, Glenflagler was produced between 1965 and 1985.

This 30 year old official release from Inverhouses is a combination of the five  last remaining casks of Glen Flagler that belonged to Inverhouse.

A release of only 931 bottles this is bottle number 687.

Includes a lovely wooden box and certificate of authenticity.

A special cask of Glenfarclas for a special fan of Glenfarclas! When number one fan of Glenfarclas Sjoerd Agema turned 60, he and a group of his friends bottled a single cask of Glenfarclas. 

Distilled in February 1968 and bottled in September 2004. Cask number 688 produced 126 bottles.

Released in 1996 to commemorate the 250th Anniversary of the Battle of Culloden the final battle of the Jacobites lead by Bonnie Prince Charlie.

Only 2,500 bottles were produced from this 1971 vintage from the famous Tain distillery. Bottled in association with The National Museum of Scotland, this is bottle number 1938.

After the auction closing date, the highest bidder will be notified by email. Payment is required within 72hrs. The buyer can then choose to ship, store, or collect the bottle(s). Buyer fees are applied during the online checkout process.  

The seller will receive payment within 21 working days of the end of the auction, directly to their chosen bank account. Seller fees will be applied to the seller’s invoice after the auction.
