Scotch Single Malt Circle
The Scotch Single Malt Circles is a German whisky society and independent bottler founded by Scottish expatriates, Bill and Maggie Miller. The club had originally been pitched to the Scotch Malt Whisky Society as its German branch, however the request was turned down. Undeterred, the Miller's founded their own society in 1990 and it functions operationally and is aesthetically presented in a similar fashion to the Edinburgh institution it is inspired by.
The club's membership is offered single cask bottlings in quarterly outturns and despite its name, some of these are also from distilleries in countries outside Scotland.
