Single malt whisky distilled in 1966... however for each year in cask some of the ABV is lost to evaporation.

When whisky drops below the 40% abv point it is no longer whisky. Often it will be \"bulked\" up with younger stronger whisky or sometimes it's turned into a liqueur. 

However on this occasion the Whisky Broker Ltd have decided to bottle the \"liquid\". 

Looks like whisky, tastes like whisky, not whisky! But when else are you going to get to try 49 year old Ben Nevis?

Toyo Jozo Byron JBA Whisky

Toya Breweries produced Jupiter Whisky before the company merged with Asahi Holdings. In this distant past some whiskies were released under the name Byron J.B.A whisky by Toyo Jozo ltd.
The whisky were blended in association with the Japan bartenders association and released in January 1967 and were only for use in bars.

This is a rare opportunity to grab long forgotten Japanese whisky.

An older edition of Balvenie's classic single barrel series, a 15 year old single malt which is drawn from a single traditional oak whisky cask of a single distillation. While every cask is subtly different, The Balvenie Malt Master has selected only casks which have the essential characteristics of The Balvenie Single Barrel.

Distilled on 21st July 1988 and bottled on 29th July 2003 from single cask #3321, this is bottle number 36.

Customers across the world can choose to sell their rum with Whisky Auctioneer. Our Client Service team will support sellers by providing valuations for their bottles and advice on the best way to get their whisky to us for sale into our auctions.

The bottles will be checked-in, authenticated, photographed, and then listed into the next available auction, or an auction of your choice, by our expert team. Whisky Auctioneer hosts monthly auctions, where registered users from across the globe can bid on bottles via our website.  

After the auction closing date, the highest bidder will be notified by email. Payment is required within 72hrs. The buyer can then choose to ship, store, or collect the bottle(s). Buyer fees are applied during the online checkout process.  

The seller will receive payment within 21 working days of the end of the auction, directly to their chosen bank account. Seller fees will be applied to the seller’s invoice after the auction.
