Talisker 1955 Secret Stills No. 1.1 Isle of Skye 50 Year Old

As with the rest of the Secret Stills range this single malt is not named, however they do offer a clue that it was distilled at Carbost on the Isle of Skye. Will we ever solve this mystery?

Distilled in May 1955 and bottled in October 2005 makes this half a century old, this is a genuine rarity.

Yamazaki Mizunara Cask 2013

Yamazaki has been thrust into the spot light after their Sherry Cask release of 2013 received the title of Best Whisky in the World title from Jim Murray.  

They release several other limited annual releases including this Mizunara matured bottling.    Mizunara (Japanese Oak) is famous for imparting it's own characteristics onto the whisky stored within them such as sandalwood and other notes.  

Please note condition of box, particular the minor creases on the rear.

A 30 year old Tomatin bottled into a still shaped decanter in 1997 to celebrate the ditillery centenary. 

200 bottles in a 90cl decanter were presented as gifts then 800 smaller 70cl ones went on sale to the public. 

Includes the still top glass stopper.

The bottles will be checked-in, authenticated, photographed, and then listed into the next available auction, or an auction of your choice, by our expert team. Whisky Auctioneer hosts monthly auctions, where registered users from across the globe can bid on bottles via our website.  

After the auction closing date, the highest bidder will be notified by email. Payment is required within 72hrs. The buyer can then choose to ship, store, or collect the bottle(s). Buyer fees are applied during the online checkout process.  

The seller will receive payment within 21 working days of the end of the auction, directly to their chosen bank account. Seller fees will be applied to the seller’s invoice after the auction.
