The Peninsula 2014 / Suntory

​A mature and heavily sherried Japanese blend produced by Suntory for The Peninsula luxury hotel in Tokyo.

Rumoured to contain some very old Japanese single malt, which is exciting as Suntory own both Yamazaki and Hakushu.

Talisker 1957 Cadenhead's 21 Year Old / Rossi Import

A very rare Talisker released by Cadenhead's of Aberdeen. 

Distilled at Talisker in February 1957 and bottled in July 1978 in the classic brown dumpy bottle.

Imported by Mario Rossi Jr. for the Italian market. 

Tesseron Extreme Cognac

A truly stunning decanter of one of the finest expressions of the Tesseron Cognac range. It is made with eaux-de-vie from the Grande Champagne region using Ugni Blanc, Folles Blanche and Colombard grapes.

Talisker 1981 Cask Strength 20 Year Old

Bottled in 2002 as part of Diageo's annual releases. This 1981 Talisker quickly became very desirable - no small thanks to Jim Murray who scored this 95 points and making the comment 'miss this and your life will be incomplete.' 

Matured in sherry casks and released as a 20 year old, this is bottle number 44 of 9000.

Taketsuru 25 Year Old Pure Malt

A very rare bottling of Taketsuru, originally introduced in 2012 this blended malt contains casks from Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries.

It is extremely limited and only 120 bottles were available throughout Europe.

Thomas H Handy Sazerac Rye 2017 Release

Part of Buffalo Trace's annual antique collection. Bottled at 63.6% alcohol, they do get higher ABV than this but it's still impressive!

The 2011 release won Jim Murray's Whisky of the Year! 

Buffalo Trace's Antique Collection celebrates various historic bourbon brands and figures. The Thomas H. Handy rye is named after the company's founder, and features an image of the eponymous Sazerac Coffee House where everything started on the bottle.

Tomatin 1981 Single Cask 32 Year Old #001

The very first cask distilled at Tomatin in 1981 this was aged 32 years in Oloroso sherry wood and bottled in 2014 in this stunning decanter.

Cask #001 was an Oloroso sherry butt.

Tomatin 1982 Single Cask 28 Year Old

A very elegant presentation from the Tomatin distillery.

Distilled in January 1982 and bottled August 2010, this is from refill sherry puncheon number #92.

Tomatin 1965 Duncan Taylor 40 Year Old

Part of their Rare Auld series, this is a single cask bottling of Tomatin from Duncan Taylor.

Duncan Taylor was founded in Glasgow in 1938 as a cask broker and trading company. Its modern history began in 2001 when a former Glendronach employee, Euan Shand, purchased the firm and moved it to Huntly in Aberdeenshire, using the impressive cask portfolio it has amassed over the 20th century to become one of the premier independent bottlers in Scotland.

Distilled in January 1965 and bottled in January 2005 at cask strength.

Tomatin 1977 Moon Import / Horae 

Moon Import was founded by Pepi Mongiardino in 1980. Heeding the advice of the late, great, Silvano Samaroli, he opted to be \"free from the big companies,\" and became the official distributor for Islay's Bruichladdich, and later Tamnavulin and Tullibardine, preferring however to procure casks from private owners. Mongiardino bottled his first whisky in 1982, titled the Half Moon series. Always beautifully labelled, Pepi is acclaimed for designing the packaging for Moon Import bottles himself, using images found in old books. The famous Birds, Animals, Costumes and Sea series were all labelled using pictures he discovered in an 18th century German encyclopaedia. These iconic designs, coupled with the quality of the liquid saw Moon Import steadily grow in popularity, and with the help of Intertrade founder, Nadi Fiori, they exported their first bottles to Japan in 2001. 

This 1977 Tomain was bottled in 1998 as part of the 'Horae Solaris' series

Tamdhu 1958 Hart Brothers 42 Year Old

A 1958 vintage Tamdhu from Hart Brothers aged for an impressive 42 years.

The Hart Brothers bottling company was founded in 1964 when Iain and Donald Hart incorporated as a wine and spirit merchant and Scotch whisky blenders. They have been bottling independent single malts since the 1980s.

Talisker 8 Year Old 1980s

This 8 year old Talisker was bottled under the Johnnie Walker name and carries the motto, 'The Golden Spirit of the Isle of Skye.'

Tomatin 1976 30 Year Old

A well-aged bottling of Tomatin, distilled in 1976.

This is a 'classic vatting' of two ex-Spanish Oloroso sherry cask finishes.

Talisker 25 Year Old 2004 Release 75cl / US Import

Released within Diageo's 'Super premium' editions, Talisker 25 year old has been bottled a number of times, this particular bottle is from the 2004 releases.

Talisker 25 year old has been bottled a number of times as part of Diageo's premium annual releases. This is the 2006 edition.

Talisker 17 Year Old Manager's Dram 2011

The Manager’s Dram series of whiskies were bottled exclusively for employees of what is now known as Diageo.  These whiskies were selected by the respective distillery managers within Diageo malt distilling and bottled at natural cask strength.

A 24 year old single malt whisky bottled by the Teeling whiskey company. The Teeling distillery in Dublin only released its first whiskey in 2017, sold through a special auction here at Whisky Auctioneer, with older age statements like this likely bottled using whiskey distilled at Cooley distillery.

Bottled in August 2016, this is a small batch limited edition of 5000 bottles.

Matured in a combination of bourbon and Sauternes casks.

Released by Nikka, this range of blended malts is named after Nikka's founder and a key member of the birth of Japanese whisky, Masataka Taketsuru.

Taketsuru 21 year old is highly acclaimed and has received many awards.

Thomas H. Handy Sazerac Rye 2014 Release

Buffalo Trace's Antique Collection celebrates various historic bourbon brands and figures. The Thomas H. Handy rye is named after the company's founder, and features an image of the eponymous Sazerac Coffee House where everything started on the bottle.

In recent years, due to the supply shortage of bourbon, rye whiskeys - including those of Thomas H. Handy - have both become increasingly popular, and then increasingly harder to get hold of.  Particularly so after the T.H. Handy Sazerac Straight Rye Whiskey 2011 release was named Jim Murray's \"Whisky of the Year!\"

Distilled in 1967 and matured in a refill hogshead before being bottled for the Whisky Agency in Germany in 2013.
