Bunnahabhain 1989 Cadenhead's 28 Year Old

From independent bottling company, Cadenhead's, this 28 year old Bunnahabhain was distilled in 1989 and bottled in 2018 after maturing in a pair of bourbon hogsheads, yielding a total of 432 bottles.

Bowmore 1997 Adelphi 20 Year Old

An independent bottling of Bowmore. Distilled in 1997 and bottled in 2018 by Adelphi from cask #2414.

Adelphi has a rich history, operating as a distillery in the Gorbals district of Glasgow from 1825, producing spirit from the waters of Loch Katrine. The distillery ceased production in the early 20th century however and several changes in ownership culminating in a takeover by Distillers Company Ltd in 1902. The Adelphi name was revived in 1993 by Jamie Walker, great-grandson of former distillery owner Archibald. With a lineage of whisky expertise he operated Adelphi as private bottling company, which now in the hands of Keith Falconer and David Houston, continues the fine work he began of bottling top quality expressions from Scotland's finest distilleries.

Jack Daniel's Old No.7 Green Label 1990s

An incredibly hard to find Jack Daniel's, displaying a green label rather than the typical black label.

Lighter and sweeter than the regular No.7 Jack Daniel's, well worth trying.

Benrinnes 1974 Signatory Vintage 20 Year Old

This Benrinnes was distilled in March 1974 and matured in butt #2577.

Bottled by Signatory Vintage in December 1994, this is one of 412 bottles. 

Bunnahabhain 2003 Pedro Ximenez Finish​

A limited edition Bunnahabhain, distilled in 2003 and bottled 14 years later in 2017 after finishing in Pedro Ximenez wood.

Blanton's Straight from the Barrel Dumped 2019

First introduced by then Ancient Age distillery Master Distiller, Elmer T. Lee, Blanton's was the first single barrel bourbon popularised in the US. Ancient Age was renamed the Buffalo Trace distillery by the Sazerac company in 1999.

Blanton's Single Barrel Bourbon is normally a 6 to 8 year old bourbon. It is aged in Warehouse H at Buffalo Trace, which is the only metal-clad warehouse at the distillery, commissioned for construction by Albert B. Blanton, after whom the whiskey is named. The warehouse was built shortly after prohibition and being metal, transfers heat quicker than brick warehouses, allowing for more rapid ageing.

This is a 2019 bottling, dumped on the 14th January and matured in barrel #3367.

Stored on rick number 1 and bottled at a barrel proof of 130.6.

Each bottle of Blanton's has one of 8 different stoppers, each depicting a horse and jockey at a different stage of finishing a race. The designs are all lettered so that a complete set laid out side by side will spell \"BLANTONS.\" 

Blair Athol 1989 Douglas Laing 25 Year Old / XOP

Old Particular is Douglas Laing's flagship label, and was launched in 2013 after their Old Malt Cask series became part of the portfolio of the newly established Hunter Laing. Xtra Old Particular is the premium version of the brand, and is reserved for casks the company considers the Laing \"family jewels.\"

This Blair Athol was distilled in 1989 ad bottled from one refill hogshead at 25 years old.

Bunnahabhain Hogshead 733​

A whisky aged in a boat! No, not on a boat but in casks made from reclaimed boat wood!

Maxime Berthou and Mark Požlep restored a 1940s fishing boat, sailed it from France to Bunnahabhain where it was turned into two hogsheads for the aging of Bunnahabhain whisky.

This bottle is the end product of this grand experiment and the first whisky of its kind.

Jameson '1780' 12 Year Old 1980s

A bottle of the 12 year old age statement from Jameson.

The 1780 in the name is a reference to the year in which Jameson's historic Bow Street distillery was opened. Production of the brand now takes place at New Midleton after the formation of the Irish Distillers group in 1966 that amalgamated Jameson with Dublin neighbours, Powers, and Cork Distillers. Bow Street closed in 1971.

Balvenie 17 Year Old New Wood

A well-aged Balvenie, finished in fresh Quercus Alba (American White Oak) casks.

A limited release, this is produced from one single batch of 79 casks.

Buffalo Trace 1997 Experimental Collection 15 Year Old 37.5cl / Heavy Char Barrel​

Buffalo Trace have released a number of experiments, this was to find out how different levels of barrel char would affect the final whisky. These barrels received a #7 char.

Distilled January 1997 when Buffalo Trace was still the Ancient Age distillery, and then matured until October 2012.

Ben Nevis 1996 Whisky Agency 19 Year Old / Auld Alliance & Three Rivers

This Ben Nevis was matured in sherry wood before being bottled by The Whisky Agency in 2016.

One of 359 bottles filled in collaboration with The Auld alliance in Singapore and Three Rivers in Tokyo.

The Whisky Agency was founded in Germany by Carsten Ehrlich, who is also the driving force behind The Whisky Fair in Limburg, one of the world's most renowned annual whisky gatherings. Bowmore 1996 Hunter Laing 22 Year Old / Old Malt Cask 20th Anniversary

An independent bottling of Bowmore from Hunter Laing, distilled June 1996 and bottled August 2018.

The Old Malt Cask series is one of the most established independent labels on the market. It was launched by Douglas Laing in 1998 and bottled by them until 2013 when the brand became part of the Hunter Laing portfolio instead. This resurrection of the older label style celebrates the 20th anniversary of the brand.

Blood Oath Kentucky Straight Bourbon 2016 / Pact No.2

This is the 2nd in the popular Blood Oath series, produced by Luxco in Bardstown, KY using sourced bourbon from neighbouring distilleries.

The 2016 release is a blend of three whiskies; a high rye, wheated and a port finished bourbon.

Luxco opened their own distillery in early 2018, named Lux Row, and have been gradually warehousing their own stock for the first time ever since.

Blanton, after whom the whiskey is named. The warehouse was built shortly after prohibition and being metal, transfers heat quicker than brick warehouses, allowing for more rapid ageing.

The Gold Edition was dumped on 31st October 2016 and is bottled at the slightly higher 103 US proof.
