High West A Midwinter Nights Dram Rye Whiskey / Act 6 Scene 4

A blend of straight rye whiskies finished in french oak port barrels from Utah in the USA.

This limited botting from the folks at High West is incredibly sought after. High West sourced their early whiskey from the MGP distillery in Indiana. Parent company, Constellation Brands, purchased a minority stake in the Bardstown Bourbon Company contract-distillery in 2016, so future releases will likely be distilled there.

Haig's Pinch 1950s / US Import

An old bottle of Pinch. Pinch is the American release of Dimple and was produced by Haig & Haig. Interestingly, in 1958 the Dimple bottle was the first container to be trademarked by the US Patent office, this was because of its unique design.

The Haig family had a long history of distilling going back as far as the 15th Century. Since 1824 when Cameronbridge distillery was opened by John Haig, Haig has been a big brand in the whisky world. As part of a distilling dynasty John Haig became important in the regulation of Whisky production and was a spokesman for the industry. Although the brand began to shrink in the 1970s, in the last year it has seen a healthy revival with the help of Mr Posh Spice David Beckham.

Bidding advice

You can place bids either under the lot image on the main auction page or on the right side of the individual lot page.

Placing a Maximum Bid
