The fourteenth batch of Ardbeg bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company.

The label depicts Geert Bero reaching for the spirit purifier at the distillery.

The 2018 limited edition release this has been matured in heavily charred casks (presenting a grooved surface hence the name).

'Feels like Heaven'

A Scotch Malt Whisky Society bottling of Arran. Distilled 20th April 2000 and bottled 16 years later having been aged in an ex-bourbon hogshead before a finishing period in a first-fill French oak hogshead.

An independent bottling of Aberlour, distilled in 1974 and matured for 19 years. This was bottled by Direct Wines as part of their extensive First Cask series.

Arran 2002 Private Cask 15 Year Old #542 / Year of the Dog

Isle of Arran Distillery is one of the few remaining independent distilleries in Scotland. The Distillery is in the village of Lochranza on the northwest tip of the Isle of Arran.

This is a Private Cask bottling for the Taiwanese market and the zodiac Year of the Dog. Distilled in 2002 and matured for 15 years in an Oloroso sherry cask #542.

Ardbeg Perpetuum Bicentenary Release / Signed Launch Dinner Exclusive

Released in 2015 to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the legendary Islay distillery. This is one of only a handful of very rare engraved and signed bottled of the 47.4% release. 

These engraved bottles were given to attendees of an exclusive launch dinner in 2015.

Perpetuum is a blend of old and young whisky which has been matured in both bourbon and sherry casks.

The bottle is engraved with the signatures of Bill Lumsden and Brendan McArren.

Aberlour 13 Year Old Distillery Exclusive / Oloroso Cask

A small batch distillery exclusive from Aberlour, matured in sherry casks for 13 years before being bottled in 2018 at cask strength.

Ancient Ancient Age 10 Star Kentucky Straight Bourbon

Jim Murray is a fan of this brand, however this is apparently hard to find outside of Kentucky.

Ancient Age was introduced in 1938 by the Schenley company, at what was then known as George T. Stagg distillery. A Japanese firm known as Age International purchased the distillery and brand in 1983, renaming the former as Ancient Age distillery.

The Sazerac company purchased the distillery in 1992, and although they still produce the Ancient Age brand, they replaced it as their flagship product in 1999, renaming the distillery Buffalo Trace, and launching a bourbon of the same name a few months later.

Ancient Ancient Age is the older expression of the brand, once aged 10 years, but now simply known as 10 Star.

Ardmore 1992 Whisky Agency 18 Year Old

An Ardmore bottled by The Whisky Agency, distilled in 1992 and matured for 18 years in an ex-bourbon barrel.

The Whisky Agency was founded in Germany by Carsten Ehrlich, who is also the driving force behind The Whisky Fair in Limburg, one of the world's most renowned annual whisky gatherings. Their passion is unquestionable, and they have a regular release schedule of high quality single casks, often in collaboration with some of the most respected whisky bars and retailers. The Whisky Agency's labels include The Perfect Dram, Liquid Library, Private Stock, and Liquid Sun.

Aberlour A'Bunadh Batch #52

Aberlour A'Bunadh is produced in the tradition of 19th century single malts from an era when villagers would come to the distillery to collect their dram straight from the cask, often in apothecary bottles obtained from the village chemist. These bottles are the inspiration for the A'Bunadh bottle shape today.

Aberlour A'bunadh is bottled using only first fill Oloroso sherry butts, this is batch #52 and was released in 2015.

Ardbeg Auriverdes

The Auriverdes was the 2014 Ardbeg Day release, an annual open day which coincides with the Feis Ile festival on Islay, on this occasion the 31st of May.

Auriverdes is a Portuguese term created by the combination of auri, meaning \"gold\" and verde, meaning \"green.\" The word is commonly used in reference to the national flag, or as a nickname for many of their sports teams on account of their uniforms. Coincidentally, these are also the brand colours of Ardbeg distillery.

Arran 1996 Douglas Laing 21 Year Old

Distilled in July 1996, three years after production commenced at Arran distillery. Bottled as a 21 year old in February 2018

Old Particular is Douglas Laing's flagship label, and was launched in 2013 after their Old Malt Cask series became part of the portfolio of the newly established Hunter Laing.

The Distillery Cask series from Auchentoshan is a visitor exclusive range, available only to hand-fill from the cask at the distillery.

This one was distilled on 17th September 2008 and bottled on 6th March 2019 from wine cask #3814.

Arran Smugglers' Series Volume 2 / The High Seas

A very cool nod to the shady history of Arran's distilling. Back during the 18th and 19th century the island was a producer of illicit whisky.This second release is specifically for the producers of the famed Arran Waters. 

The whisky itself is a peated spirit matured in rum casks and finished in first fill bourbon barrels.

One of 8,700 bottles.

Anderson Club 10 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon 1990s

An old bottle of Anderson Club bourbon from the mid-1990's.

It was distilled and bottled at the old Heaven Hill distillery, before it was tragically burned down in a fire in 1996 and production moved to the new site at Bernheim.

Anderson Club is a charcoal filtered whiskey, a practice known as the Lincoln County Process and often better associated with Tennessee Whiskies such as Jack Daniel's. This often leads to a common misconception, likely deliberately promoted by some distillers, that whiskey produced in this fashion cannot be called bourbon.

Arran Devil’s Punch Bowl Chapter II           

Released in 2013, Arran’s second edition release in the very popular punch bowl series consists of 27 casks distilled between 1997 and 2004; 17 of which are sherry casks, 6 ‘unpeated’ bourbon casks and 4 peated bourbon casks.

Known as the Angels and Devils edition, only 6,660 bottles have been released.

Auchentoshan 21 Year Old

A nicely-presented 21 year old expression from Glasgow's Auchentoshan distillery, matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks.

Ardbeg Kelpie

The non-cask strength version of Ardbeg Kelpie, released during Feis Ile 2017. This has been matured in virgin casks crafted from oak grown on land in the Adyghe Republic - a Russian federal subject just north of Georgia, on the northeast coast of the Black Sea.

A nicely-presented 21 year old expression from Glasgow's Auchentoshan distillery, matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks.
