Cambus 1964 Signatory Vintage 31 Year Old

A Signatory Vintage bottling of this much-loved closed distillery.

Distilled on 31st December 1964 and bottled on 23rd April 1996.

Signatory Vintage were established in 1988 by Andrew Symington and are one of Scotland's most prolific independent bottlers. Their offices and bottling facility are located next to Edradour distillery, which they have also owned since 2002.

Carsebridge 1976 Douglas Laing 41 Year Old / XOP

Distilled in October 1976 and matured in a refill hogshead for 41 years. 

Bottled in August 2018, this is a fantastically well-aged dram from this closed distillery.

The Xtra Old Particular series (XOP) was launched in 2013 and is reserved by Douglas Laing for casks considered to be the \"family jewels.\"

One of only 200 bottles drawn from cask #12768.

Caroni 1996 Velier 21 Year Old 100 Proof

Established in 1923 on the site of the sugar factory for which it was named, Caroni was a key ingredient of British Navy rations, where it's famous high ester 'Heavy' rums help to make up the signature flavour. Sadly, with the decline of the Trinidadian sugar industry, the Islands distillers became more and more dependent upon imported molasses, making distilling less and less economical. The writing then, was already on the wall when in 2001 the Trinidadian government sold a 49% share in the holding company to Angostura. Caroni was shuttered in 2002 and a Behemoth of flavour was lost to the world.

Thankfully, in 2004, Luca Gargano discovered the ossuary of Caroni's warehouses filled of barrels of the legendary heavy rum quietly ageing. Since then we have seen a number of outstanding releases with collectors and drinkers alike seeking to acquire one of these coveted relics.

Distilled in 1996 at the now lost Caroni distillery.

Aged in Trinidad for 21 years, before being bottled in France in 2017.

An independent bottling of Caol Ila, distilled in 1979 matured 33 years in a refill hogshead.

Bottled in 2012 for the Whisky Agency in collaboration with The Nectar.

The Whisky Agency was founded in Germany by Carsten Ehrlich, who is also the driving force behind The Whisky Fair in Limburg, one of the world's most renowned annual whisky gatherings. Their passion is unquestionable, and they have a regular release schedule of high quality single casks, often in collaboration with some of the most respected whisky bars and retailers. The Whisky Agency's labels include The Perfect Dram, Liquid Library, Private Stock, and Liquid Sun.

Chichibu On The Way 2013 Release

Ichiro Akuto's Chichibu distillery has been producing malts for a while now, this was released in 2013 and is made from various vintages from 2008 onwards. All matured in bourbon casks then finished in Mizunara.

Foursquare 2003 Velier 14 Year Old Destino

A single blended rum - combining both column and pot still distillate from a singe distillery - from Foursquare distillery, matured for 12 years in ex-Madeira casks and then moved to ex-bourbon casks for another 2 years. 

Bottled in December 2017 as one of 2610 bottles.

Chichibu Ichiro's Malt On The Way 2013 Release 75cl / US Import

Ichiro Akuto's Chichibu distillery has been producing malts for a while now, this was released in 2013 and is made from various vintages from 2008 onwards. All matured in bourbon casks then finished in Mizunara oak.

Crown Royal Northern Harvest Rye 6 x 75cl / US Import

This was once the best whisky in the world, as declaredin 2016 by self proclaimed panel of experts and author of The Whisky Bible, Jim Murray. 

As for the liquid it is a blended Canadian whisky that is made up of 90% rye. Formerly the pride of the Seagram's drinks empire, Crown Royal is now produced by Diageo at the distillery in Gimli.

This is a \"double matured\" rum from the lost Trindadian distillery.

Distilled in 1994 and aged in its native Trinidad until 2008. The barrels were then transferred to DDL's Diamond distillery in Guyana where they were selected by Velier's Luca Gargano in 2017.

This is Velier's 36th Caroni release.

Chichibu Ichiro's Malt The Peated 2018 / 10th Anniversary

This is from the relatively new and incredibly popular Japanese distillery Chichibu.

Distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2018, this has been produced from heavily peated malt and bottled at cask strength.

One of 11550 bottles.

Clynelish 1982 Berry Brothers and Rudd 

An independent single cask bottling of Clynelish by Berry Brothers and Rudd, distilled in 1982 and bottled in 2010.

Berry Brothers and Rudd is a firm steeped in history. They were established in the late 17th century, and received a Royal Warrant from King Edward VII in 1903. The company has been bottling single malt whisky from almost as early as that, and produced their first ever blend, Cutty Sark, in 1923.

Distilled in 1984 and bottled for Whisky Agency in Germany from an ex-bourbon hogshead in 2012.

Craigellachie 1999 Exceptional Cask 17 Year Old / Palo Cortado Cask Finish

This previously under rated Speysider has garnered a lot of buzz since the 31 year old bagged World's Best Single Malt at the World Whisky Awards 2017.

This limited edition was distilled on the 19th August 1999 and bottled after 17 years in cask, including 2 and a half years in a Palo Cortado cask.

One of 3032 bottles. 

Cardhu 1973 Rare Malt 27 Year Old / 60.02%

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

Released at an impressive natural cask strength of 60.02%, distilled in 1973 and bottled in October 2000 as a 27 year old.

There were only two releases of Cardhu under the Rare Malt Selection.

Ichiro Akuto's Chichibu distillery has been producing malts for a while now, this was released in 2015 and is made from various vintages comprising 2008 onwards.

All matured in bourbon casks and then finished in Mizunara.

Chichibu Ichiro's Malt 'The Floor Malted' 2015 75cl / US Import

Ichiro Akuta is the grandson of the founder of the famous Hanyu distillery. In 2007, he built a new whisky distillery 100km northwest of Tokyo.

Located near the old distillery of Hanyu the local climate (humid summers and cold winters) provides excellent maturing conditions for whisky and even though it is a young distillery Chichibu continues to release exceptional whiskies.

This is a special release for the US market, bottled in 2015.

An independent bottling of Clynelish bottled by Netherlands based CasQueteers.

Distilled in on October 29th 1997 and laid to rest in bourbon hogshead #12355. The liquid was then bottle 20 years later on November 7th 2017.
