Demerara Rum 2002 Samaroli Single Cask

A 2002 vintage Demerara rum from an unnamed distillery. Actually, since Uitlvugt closed in 2000, there is only one distillery in Guyana, Diamond. Many of the nations historic stills are in operation there though, including those from Enmore and Port Mourant, and it continues to produce these styles.

Samaroli is perhaps Italy's most revered independent bottler of Scotch whisky. With an impeccable taste in single cask whiskies, and an eye for aesthetics (if not English spelling at times!), he is regarded by many as a visionary. Many of his bottles now occupy deserved sports on the pantheon of whisky greats.

Daftmill 2006 Winter Batch Release 2018 / UK Batch

Daftmill was granted a license to begin producing spirit in 2005, and had not bottled a single drop of that first distillate until 2018 when it produced just 629 bottles of its inaugural release.

This is the distillery's third ever offering from its inaugural release year, a 2006 single vintage bottling of 6 casks. The spirit matured for nearly 12 years in ex-bourbon casks from Heaven Hill Bernheim distillery in Louisville, Kentucky.

The UK batch consists of 1625 bottles, drawn from casks #080/2006 through #085/2006.

An export batch was also produced from a different set of 6 casks.
