Thomas H. Handy Sazerac Rye 2015 Release

Released within the famous and eagerly awaited Buffalo Trace Antique Collection.

In recent years, due to the supply shortage of bourbon, rye whiskeys - including those of Thomas H. Handy - have both become increasingly popular, and then increasingly harder to get hold of.  Particularly so after the T.H. Handy Sazerac Straight Rye Whiskey 2011 release was named Jim Murray's \"Whisky of the Year!\"

Tullamore Dew 10 Year Old 1960s

Tullamore Dew is a popular Irish Whiskey, now owned by William Grant and Sons.

Bottled in the late 1960s by Irish Distillers, who were formed by the amalgamation of Cork Distillers, John Jameson & Son, and John Powers & Son in 1966. The latter had procured the Tullamore Dew brand from D.E. Williams in the early part of that decade, indicating that this may contain whiskey distilled at Power's old John's Lane distillery.

The Old Tullamore Distillery, owned by D.E. Williams closed in 1954, entering an agreement with Powers who would provide whiskey for their brands, Irish Mist and Tullamore Dew. This bottle therefore occupies an unusual spot in the Dew's history, being distilled at John's Lane, sourced by D.E. Williams, and then returned home after his sale of the brand, to be bottled back in the same distillery it was produced.

Damoiseau Millesime 1980 Rhum Vieux 18 Year Old

Rhums Damoiseau are distilled in the French Caribbean island of Guadeloupe from 100% fresh-pressed sugarcane and no molasses - this results in a fresh character rum without any rubberiness.

After distillation, the rum is stocked in oak barrels that have previously been used for bourbon.  Given the hot climate in Guadeloupe, the casks experience an evaporation rate of almost 50% after 10 years, while also imparting into the spirit a light brown colour.
