Laphroaig 1974 Sherry Cask 31 Year Old

A legendary official release of Laphroaig, distilled in 1974 and bottled 31 years later for La Maison Du Whisky.

This stunning whisky was limited to only 910 bottles and is reknowned for its incredible sherry influence.

Another highly acclaimed and award-winning whisky, this was given an impressive 95 points from Serge Valentin on Whisky Fun, not to mention its Gold Medal and Non Plus Ultra award from the Malt Maniacs!

Laphroaig 10 Year Old Circa 1970s / US Carlton Import

A rare bottling produced for the American market.

This particular bottle of Laphroaig was produced in the very early 1970s and was imported into the US by the Carlton Company.  A truly fantastic example of Laphroaig, containing distillate from the very early 1960s, maybe even 1950s.  We've never had a bottle of Laphroaig from this period before and are very excited to bring this to auction.

Weller's Antique Reserve 10 Year Old 110 Proof 1970s

A fantastic old bottling of Weller's Antique Reserve, aged 10 years and bottled at a barrel proof of 110.

Distilled and then bottled in the early 1970's at the legendary Stizel-Weller distillery, and given the age statement, likely from stock produced by Julien Van Winkle I before his death in the mid-1960's. The distillery was then run by his son, Julien Van Winkle II until its sale in 1972.

Presented in an ornate felt lined box with two glasses.

Hanyu 1991 Ichiro's Malt 'Card' #371 / Five of Clubs​

A single cask #371 Hanyu, bottled within the Ichiro's Malt 'Card' series of whiskies.

Distilled in 1991 and matured in a hogshead before being moved into a Mizunara hogshead for a second maturation period.

Distilled in 1991 and bottled in 2011 from cask #401. 

Initially matured in hogshead prior to being finished in a Bourbon barrel.

A single cask #378 Hanyu bottled within the Ichiro's Malt's legendary Playing Card series of whiskies.

Distilled in 1991 and matured in a hogshead before being moved into a Red Oak Head hogshead for a second maturation period prior to being bottled in 2010.

Hanyu 1988 Ichiro's Malt 'Card' #9108 / King of Clubs​

A single cask Hanyu, distilled in 1988 and matured in a hogshead prior to being finished in an ex-Cognac cask and bottled in 2010. 

This is the King of Clubs face card in the legendary series of Playing Card bottlings by Ichiro's Malt.

A legendary 40 year old Highland Park released alongside branded decanter and a book which celebrates Highland Park and Orkney.

This magnificent whisky is presented in a lockable hardwood case.

A single cask Hanyu distilled in 1988 and matured in a hogshead prior to being finished in an American Oak Sherry Butt and bottled in 2006.

Hibiki 17 Year Old Mount Fuji Limited Edition

Suntory released this special edition to Commemorate Mount Fuji, the highest peak in Japan, getting added to the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List in 2013. 

The Hibiki, whose bottle always has 24 facets representing the 24 seasons of the Japanese lunar calendar has been redecorated with a painting of a scenic view of Mount Fuji. 

Hanyu 1990 Ichiro's Malt 'Card' #527 / Ten of Diamonds​

Distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2011. 

First matured in a hogshead and then re-racked into an American oak puncheon.

Hanyu Ichiro's Malt The Joker 'Colour'

The 54th and final bottling in Ichiro's Card Series.

There are two Joker's released to complete the 54 bottle series, one in colour and one in Black and White.  This particular bottling is the Colour Joker, a vatting of 14 casks covering vintages from 1985, 1986, 1988, 1990, 1991 and 2000.  The casks used for this final bottling include a sherry butt, puncheon, hogshead, Cognac, chibidaru, Madeira hogshead and bourbon.

Only 3,690 bottles of this highly sought after whisky have been made available.

William L Weller 1982 19 Year Old / Bottled 2001​

William L Weller bottlings now tend to contain whiskey aged for approximately 10 to 14 years however when this was released that was not the case,  This was distilled in Spring 1982 and bottled in Summer 2001. Making this a 19 year old.

Longrow 1974 21 Year Old

Longrow, peated spirit was first produced at Springbank during the early 1970s. 

This was distilled in September 1974 and bottled in February 1996.

One of only 350 bottles.

Highland Fusilier 21 Year Old 'Remember Series' 1978 x 4 / Co. Pinerolo Import

Highland Fusilier is a blended malt produced by Gordon & macPhail. This four bottle set is the 'Remember Series' and comprises four 21 year olds, all bottled in 1978 to mark the tercenttenary of the regiment, known as \"Princess Margaret's own Glasgow and Ayrshire,\" the Highland Fusiliers.

Each bottle is individually labelled.

The bottles were inported by Pinerolo for the Italian market.

Harry E Wilken 1917 AMS Co Special Old Reserve Bourbon / Prohibition Era Bottling 

Distilled in 1917, this bourbon was protected in bond by the American Medicinal Spirits Company from the Prohibition Act of 1920, which made alcohol production and consumption illegal.

This was bottled in 1932, a year before the Prohibition was repealed. The whiskey was produced by Harry E. Wilken, distillery no. 368 in the 5th district of Kentucky.

The American Medicinal Spirits Company was one of only around 30 distilling companies to survive Prohibition of the 434 that existed prior. Exploiting the medicinal loophole was the brainchild of Otto Wathen, an idea which continues to prove its value today in the persisting image of his still ever-popular portfolio, which included Old Grand-dad and Hill & Hill.

This 1 pint bottle was filled by the American Medicinal Spirits Company at distillery bonded warehouse no. 19, also in the 5th district of Kentucky, permit no. Ky P-19.

Willett Family Estate 22 Year Old Single Barrel Bourbon #324​

Released on the 30th May 2015 at the Willet gift shop, this well aged Bourbon was matured in barrel #324.

Willett Family Estate 22 Year Old Single Barrel Bourbon #C69A​

Released on the 22nd August 2015 at the Willet gift shop, this well aged Bourbon was matured in barrel #C69A. This barrel is believed to be wheated bourbon produced at Bernheim distillery, prior to its takeover by Heaven Hill.

Bottle number 13 of 63 bottles.

Willett Family Estate 22 Year Old Single Barrel Bourbon #B51

An exclusive release from cask #B51, which means that it was produced at Bernheim distillery, so will have a high wheat content mashbill. Bernheim is now known as Heaven Hill, and Kentucky Bourbon Distillers still procure much of their bottling stock from here while their renewed distilling operation at Willett is still in its infancy.

Matured in a single white oak barrel and bottled in December 2015 for exclusive retail in the Willett distillery gift shop.

One of just 94 bottles.
