Bowmore 1964 Gold Bowmore 44 Year Old

The third and final in this famous series, the Gold Bowmore was matured in a mixture of bourbon and sherry casks, to provide a comparison to the more famous Oloroso casks.

Brora 1972 Rare Malt 22 Year Old / 60.02%​

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

It is often said that 1972 Broras are exceptional, there are five Rare Malt Brora 1972s and this one of the rarer examples bottled at 60.02%. The 1972 continued to be an important vintage when Diageo released the 40 year old with the same vintage. 

Since its closure in 1983 the popularity of Brora has soared, this is a fantastic opportunity to own an historic bottle.

Bowmore 1964 'Black Bowmore' Final Edition

An icon of the whisky world, it's hard to fathom where whisky collecting would be today without the Black Bowmore. 

Distilled on the 5th November 1964 and matured within Oloroso sherry casks then bottled in 1995, this is the last of three Black Bowmores released in the mid-nineties. 

This is bottle number 314 of 1812.

Yamazaki 1998 Single Cask #CU70066​

Single cask Yamazaki's are very rare and hard to find these days.

This was distilled in 1998 and matured in sherry butt #CU70066 until bottling in 2012.

An incredibly rare indpendent bottling from lost Ilsay distilley, Port Ellen.

Bottled for Guiseppe Meregalli by Gordon & MacPhail in 1989, this was distilled in 1970.

One of Brora's legendary vintages. This was distilled in 1971 and bottled 29 years later by Douglas Laing for their Old Malt Cask range.

Matured in a single charred White Oak cask for over 23 years, and bottled by KBD / Willett.

This was bottled by Morrison Bowmore Distillers Ltd. to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the original Stanley P Morrison Company. It was personally selected by Brian Morrison.

Balvenie Rose 16 Year Old / First Edition 53.4%

The Balvenie Rose was created to celebrate the long history of Balvenie Castle.  Margaret Douglas 'The Fair Maid of Galloway' married in turn, two of the infamous Black Douglases.  Following the murder of William Douglas at the hands of James II the Black Douglases rebelled against the Stewart King and were defeated loosing their titles and estates.  The king however was taken by Magaret's beauty and reinstated her in Balvenie Castle with an annual rent of a single red rose.

Two batches of the Balvenie Rose were released and sold exclusively at Balvenie distillery, each batch consisted of 4 refill American oak casks which were finished in a single first fill port pipe.

The original release of Yamazaki sherry cask, released back in 2009.

Matured in Oloroso sherry casks for between 12 and 15 years , the 2013 bottling recently won 'Best Whisky in the World' according to Jim Murray and his Whisky Bible.
