Ardbeg 1993 SMWS 8 Year Old 33.48​​

\"May flowers and Swarfega.\" For those who don't know, Swarfega is an industrial srength cleaning product. Up there with one of the Scotch Malt Whisky Society's more unusual bottling names.

Cask 33.48 was distilled at Ardbeg in October 1993, and bottled 8 years later in September 2002.

This is a Kraan and Richards import for the German market.

High West 21 Year Old Rocky Mountain Rye​

A fantastic premium release form the ever popular High West. 

A 53 percent rye mashbill, aged 21 years in reused cooperage.

Distilled in 1980 and bottled in 2002, this is a 22 year old Aberlour.

The first edition of Arran's Devil Punch Bowl which consists of 27 casks distilled between 1997 and 2004; 17 of which are sherry casks, 6 ‘unpeated’ bourbon casks and 4 peated bourbon casks.

Known as the Angels and Devils edition, only 6,600 bottles have been released.

Auchroisk 1974 Rare Malt 28 Year Old / 56.8%

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

This Auchroisk was distilled in 1974 and bottled 28 years later.

Released in June 2011, Ardbeg Alligator takes its name from the aggressive charring of the American casks the whisky was matured in.  This charring level is known as the Alligator char because the cracking of the wood under the heat looks similar to the skin of an Alligator.

Highland Park Earl Haakon 18 Year Old

This is the third edition of the Earls series, which featured the Earl Magnus and Saint Magnus. This is an 18 year old Highland Park bottled at cask strength.

Comes with a fully illustrated leaflet telling the tale of Haakon. The original two bottlings in the Magnus collection celebrated the influential 11th century Earl who was canonised 20 years after his untimely death. He was murdered by Haakon, his treacherous cousin, who's infamy was celebrated with this third and final release.

Amrut Spectrum 004 / Whisky Live Warsaw​

Amrut have released some amazing whiskies.

This whisky has been matured for three years in ex-bourbon barrels, then transferred to specially custom crafted casks made from four different types of wood. 

The packaging bears an entirely inexplicable call-out to James Bond, though we' suspect the legal team at Amrut would deny any connection between the product and Alexander Fleming's spy extraordinaire.

Heaven Hill 2003 Select Stock / Bourbon Heritage Center

A single barrel Heaven Hill, bottled specially for the Bourbon Heritage Center at their distillery. Distilled in September 2003, this wheated bourbon was aged 8 years before being finished in Cognac barrels for a further 32 months.

Bottled in October 2014 at 124.4 proof from barrel #44829-44835, rickhouse J, floor 6.

Ardbeg don't release many vintages at all now, and the Airgh Nam Beist was one of the last, prior to the Galileo.

Taking it's name from the Gaelic meaning of \"shelter\" or pasture, this whisky was distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2006 at 46%.
