This is a rare single cask Arran produced for The Whisky Shop. 

Distilled on 21st July 1997 and bottled on 30th April 2013 from a single sherry hogshead which yielded 230 bottles.

This is bottle number 149.

Arran 1996 Carn Mor 15 Year Old

Distilled in 1996 and bottled in 2012.

Matured in a Refill Sherry Butt. 

One of 735 bottles. 

Arran 2002 Private Cask 14 Year Old / Sherry Cask #550

Distilled on 7th August 2002 and matured in single cask #2002/550 before being bottled on 15th May 2017.

Isle of Arran Distillery is one of the few remaining independent distilleries in Scotland. The Distillery is in the village of Lochranza on the North-West tip of the Isle of Arran, where it is perfectly situated to capture the character of the beautiful island of pure mountain water and soft sea air washed by the Gulf stream. This hand-crafted malt has no added artificial colouring and is not chill-filtered at the bottling stage, thus ensuring  a completely natural Whisky which retains the full range of aromas and flavours which typify the Arran malt.

Arran Millennium Casks

A memorable mix of 10 sherry hogsheads and 35 bourbon barrels, the Arran Millennium casks were distilled and filled into these casks on the 31^st December 1999 and 1^st January 2000. 

A limited release of 7,800 bottles.

Arran 18 Year Old 

The Arran range has been gradually getting older,  now finally in it's 18th year. This recent release follows the success of their 16 and 17 year old whiskies, release annually prior to this bottle.

Matured in ex-Sherry casks and limited to 9,000 bottles.

The final batch of the series by St Andrew's based Eden Mill has been finished exclusively in Port Casks.

Ardbeg Corryvreckan

Ardbeg Corryvreckan is named after the famous whirlpool off the northern tip of Jura.

This is the official release of Corryvreckan following the Committee bottling.

This expression joined the Ardbeg 10 year old and Uigeadail as an ongoing product, replacing the Airgh Nam Beist. This Ardbeg was matured in predominantly French oak casks and ex-bourbon American oak casks.

Arran 1997 Berry Brothers and Rudd 16 Year Old

Distilled in 1997 and bottled in 2014 after being matured in a single cask. 

Ardbeg 10 Year Old

They don't get much peatier than Ardbeg. This is a bottle of their beloved 10 year old.

Ardbeg An Oa

Released in September 2017 at Ardbeg Embassies and whisky specialists, the An Oa is the fourth addition to the distillery's Ultimate range.

The whisky itself is a marriage of Pedro Ximenez Sherry, Bourbon, and Charred Virgin Oak casks, which have been combined together in the distillery's bespoke Gathering Vat.

Eden Mill Single Malt Hip Flask Series No.2 20cl / Chocolate Malt

Although only new, Eden Mill is a distillery steeped in distilling history. Situated on the banks of the Eden Estuary, just outside the beautiful town of St. Andrews, the distillery occupies a site formerly owned and operated by the Haig family for most of the 19th century. Haig's moved their business to the familiar Markinch address in 1882, converting the buildings into a brewery and paper mill instead. The brewery closed just 20 years later and the paper mill operated until 2008. Then, Eden Mill was born.

In 2012, Eden Mill became St Andrews first brewery since 1902, and Scotland's first ever combined brewing and distillery complex in 2014 when the plan was hatched and set into motion, to produce their first malt whisky. As we all know, the art of whisky production is game of patience, and as their first ever malt distillate lay resting for the requisite 3 years to become malt whisky, the distillery made quite a name for itself in the Gin world. With three copper stills and as many years on their hands, Eden Mill produced boundary-pushing gin, infusing everything from beer hops to old golf clubs, creating a brand that has become a bar gantry staple and home cabinet favourite. Now however, the wait is over and the it is time for their whisky to take centre stage.

The first whiskies produced in St. Andrews for over 150 years, these elegantly packaged 20cl glass \"hip flask\" bottles have been distilled using a variety of malt types, and matured in a variety of different casks.

No.2 in the series was distilled using Chocolate Malt on New Year's Eve 2014, and matured in a US virgin oak octave.

One of only 220 bottles.

The lable depicts Artist Emily Chappell and a friend on an ill-fated kayaking trip, being shipwrecked on an island and trying to signal the Waverley Cruise Ship which sails from Glasgow to Arran.

In Jim Murray's opinion this is the best whisky in Boutique-y range awarding it 95%.

Auld Alliance William Grant & Sons

A blend of Scotch malt whisky and French Armagnac by William Grant and Sons. 

Named after the famous friendship between Scotland and France in their ongoing conflicts with England throughout the early to middle period of the last millennium. The first of these treaties was signed in 1295 and its sentiment remained upheld for 450 years.

This lot includes a Pamphlet on the \"Franco-Scottish\" connection, written by Gordon Donaldson.
