Ron Zacapa Centenario 23 Year Old Straight From The Cask​

A 2005, limited edition, higher strength version of the multi-award winning 23 year old Ron Zacapa.

Royal Brackla 1978 Rare Malt 20 Year Old / 59.8%

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

Royal Brackla was only released once within the Rare Malt series, distilled in 1978 and bottled in May 1998, as a 20 year old.

Bottle number 6443.

Aultmore 1989 Samaroli

A single cask bottling of Aultmore distilled in 1989 and bottled by Silvano Samaroli in April 2002, after maturing in cask #2402.

Bottle number 313 of only 426 produced.

Rare Perfection 12 Year Old Bourbon​

A small batch 12 year old bourbon, bottled by Kentucky Bourbon Distillers at Willett. Although the Willett distillery is producing its own liquid again now, the still there were silent from the early 1980's until 2012. KBD operated the site as an independent bottler during this period (although they did still have some old Willett distilled barrels in the warehouse). Most of the barrells they replenished their stock with were purchased from Heaven Hill, which is likely where this originates.

The Rare Perfection range is exclusive to the Japanese market and is imported by Sake-Net.

Rosebank 1990 Douglas Laing 19 Year Old

Rosebank is a sorely missed lowland malt.

This Douglas Laing bottling was distilled in February 1989 and bottled December 2009. 

One of 670 bottles. 

Aultmore 1989 Samaroli

A single cask bottling of Aultmore distilled in 1989 and bottled by Silvano Samaroli in April 2002, after maturing in cask #2402.

Rittenhouse Straight Rye 1970s

A wonderful Rye, appreciated greatly for it's use within Manhattan's and other Rye based cocktails.

Produced by Continental Distilling at their long-lost distillery in Pennsylvania, the brand was purchased not long after this was produced, by Heaven Hill who make it today.

Amrut Spectrum 004 / Whisky Live Warsaw​

Amrut have released some amazing whiskies.

This whisky has been matured for three years in ex-bourbon barrels, then transferred to specially custom crafted casks made from four different types of wood. 

The packaging bears an entirely inexplicable call-out to James Bond, though we' suspect the legal team at Amrut would deny any connection between the product and Alexander Fleming's spy extraordinaire.

Redbreast Mano a Lámh All Sherry Limited Edition

A limited release from Midleton of 2000 bottles for Stillhouse members. 

Mano a Lámh, means ‘hand in hand’, represents the joining of two languages, Gaelic and Galician, in celebration of the relationship between the Masters of Midleton and the collective of artisans in Spain, who have crafted the distillery’s sherry butts for over 20 years.

Ardbeg 1990 Airigh Nam Beist 2006

Ardbeg don't release many vintages at all now, and the Airgh Nam Beist was one of the last, prior to the Galileo.

Taking it's name from the Gaelic meaning of \"shelter\" or pasture, this whisky was distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2006 at 46%.

Aberfeldy Ramble 16 Year Old Single Cask

A Whisky Shop exclusive Aberfeldy, matured for 16 years and bottled with an eye catching limited edition label designed by Glasgow based artist, David Galletly.

Aberlour A'bunadh Batch #6

This is a very early batch of Aberlour A'bunadh, the first to carry a batch number and released during 1999.

Ardbeg Still Young 1998

Ardbeg Still Young was distilled in 1998 and released in 2006, the second release on the ‘path to peaty maturity’.

Rosebank 1991 Gordon and MacPhail

A Connoisseurs Choice release from closed Lowland distillery by Gordon and MacPhail.

Distilled July 1991 and bottled in March 2009 from refill sherry and American casks.

Ardbeg Day Feis Ile 2012

Released on June 1^st 2012 as Ardbeg’s annual Feis Ile bottling, it was not only available at Ardbeg Distillery, but also via 100 of Ardbeg’s ‘embassies’.

The hugely popular Ardbeg Day was a limited run of 12,000 bottles partially married in ex refill sherry casks used to mature whisky for the Ardbeg Uigeadail.

Royal Lochnagar 1973 Douglas Laing 30 Year Old

A 1973 vintage Royal Lochnagar bottled in 2003 .

The distillery is situated close to Balmoral, the Queen’s official residence in Scotland which makes this distillery a tourist must.

This is a very early batch of Aberlour A'bunadh, the first to carry a batch number and released in 1999.

Aberlour A'Bunadh Batch #12

Aberlour A'Bunadh is bottled using only first fill Oloroso sherry butts, this is batch #12 released in 2004.

Ardbeg Alligator Untamed Release

A fierce charring to the cask, an 'alligator char' provides the name for this whisky, aggressive heat when applied to the inside of the casks causes the cracking of the wood which resembles that of an Alligators skin. Following the acclaimed committee release, the un-tamed edition was released in 2011 and quickly sold out.

Aberlour A'Bunadh / Very Early Batch 

This is one of the first five batches of A'Bunadh, unfortunately the batches were unnumbered in the distant days of 1997. This is from between batch 1 and batch 5. 

The word a'bunadh is translated into English from Scottish Gaelic as \"the origin\", as this refers to how the whisky Aberlour would have produced around 100 years ago.

This bottle appears to have been signed by two of the distillery staff at the time.

Royal Brackla 1966 Cadenheads 18 Year Old​

Distilled in February 1966 and bottled in February 1984 by Wm Cadenhead.

This is the 2nd release of Ardbeg's Supernova and was very highly acclaimed. Released in 2010, this was peated in excess of 100 p.p.m.

This Ardbeg was distilled in May 2007 then matured in a 2nd fill ex-sherry butt.

Specially selected by a tasting panel of 20 members of the White Stag, these bottlings are always eagerly awaited, selling out online incredibly quickly!  

Distilled in 1996 and bottled on the 12th of September 2017 from a pair of Sherry hogsheads - #622 and #652 - at 21 Years Old.

Released in 2012, this Auchroisk was distilled in 1982 and bottled from a combination of refill European and American oak.

Royal Lochnagar 1981 Roseisle Maltings 25 Year Old

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Roseisle maltings, Diageo bottled a 25 year old distilled in 1981, produced from the very first batch of barley produced at the facility.
