Laphroaig 40 Year Old

Distilled in 1960, this 40 year old was the official release following the 1960 vintage 40 year old at Oddbins.

The casks were matured in Warehouse #1 for 40 years, prior to bottling on 29th May 2001.  A mere 3,300 bottles of this Laphroaig 40 year old were made available and it remains the oldest official release of Laphroaig to date.

Port Ellen 1978 31 Year Old 10th Release 

The 10th Port Ellen to be released in Diageo's super premium editions, distilled in 1978 and bottled in 2010.

Port Ellen 1978 25 Year Old 4th Release

Port Ellen is the lost jewel of the Islay crown. Closure in 1983 has enabled this distillery to receive a near mythical amount of love and respect. As stocks get thinner on the ground, these bottles become rarer and rarer.

The fourth in the wildly popular Port Ellen annual releases.  Distilled in 1978 and bottled 25 years later in 2004, bottled at cask strength and limited to 5,100 bottles, this is bottle 1,419.

Auchentoshan 1973 32 Year Old Sherry Cask

A stunning single cask Auchentoshan distilled on 4th March 1973 and matured exclusively in a Sherry cask before bottling on 8th July 2005.

An old Aberlour, distilled in 1964 and bottled 25 years later presented in a lovely lockable wooden box.

Port Ellen 1983 Douglas Laing 23 Year Old

Old Malt Cask release from Douglas Laing, this Port Ellen was distilled in December 1983 before being bottled 23 years later in October 2006.

A single cask yielding 549 bottles.

Port Ellen 1975 Silver Seal 25 Year Old

Bottled at the turn of the millenium this Port Ellen was distilled in 1975 and bottled by the Glasgow based independant bottlers Silver Seal.

Port Charlotte PC5

Port Charlotte is a heavily peated spirit produced by Bruichladdich in rememberance and hope for a long list distillery at Port Charlotte on Islay, which closed in 1929. 

Matured in both bourbon and sherry cask this 5 year old spirit was limited to 6,038 bottles.

Ardbeg Very Young 1998

The first in Ardbeg’s \"Young\" series on their \"path to peaty maturity\", tracing Ardbeg’s path to their new 10 year old. 

It was bottled in 2004.

A rare bottling from the elusive Ayrshire distillery, distilled in 1970 and bottled 30 years later in 2000 by Gordon and Macphail.

Released within their Rare Old series of whiskies, carrying the brown and yellow label.

Ardbeg Supernova Stellar Release

Following the incredibly popular committee release of Arbdeg Supernova, this commercial release sold out quickly as well.  

Ardbeg Supernova is the peatiest Ardbeg ever released at 100ppm, an estimate 18,000 bottles were released in January 2009.

Ardbeg 17 Year Old

The first releases of Ardbeg 17 year old sparked the renewed interest in Ardbeg. 

Now, several years after being discontinued, it is still recognised as a sensational Ardbeg.

Linlithgow 1974 Old Malt Cask 26 Year Old

An older vintage of Linlithgow, we rarely ever see any St Magadalene / Linlithgow distilled in the early 1970s these days.

Distilled in February 1974 and bottled within Douglas Laing's Old Malt Cask range 26 years later in May 2000.

This single cask Linlightow produced 330 bottles.

Ardbeg Day 75cl (US Import)

Available at Ardbeg distillery and across 100 Ardbeg Embassies, this was Ardbeg's Feis Ile 2012 release.

Ardbeg Day was selected from ad married in refill-sherry casks which previously were used for Uigeadail.  Only 12,000 bottles were made available worldwide.

Port Charlotte PC6

Port Charlotte is a heavily peated spirit produced by Bruichladdich in rememberance and hope for a long list distillery at Port Charlotte on Islay, which closed in 1929. 

Distilled in 2001 and Released in 2007 this 6 year old whisky was limited to 18,000 bottles.

Bottle number 2467 of 18,000.

Port Charlotte PC9

A fierce charring to the cask, an 'alligator char' provides the name for this whisky, aggressive heat when applied to the inside of the casks causes the cracking of the wood which re-sembles that of an Alligators skin. 

Following the acclaimed committee release, the un-tamed edition was released in 2011 and quickly sold out.

A limited edition version of Laphroaig 10 year old bottled to commemorate Laphroaig being granted a Royal warrant by Prince Charles.

Limited to 2,200 bottles.

Ardbeg Blasda

The tamed version of Ardbeg, well to a degree anyway, Ardbeg Blasda was peated to an average of 8ppm compared to the more usual 24ppm.  Rather controversially, the Blasda was also bottled in clear glass, at 40% and has been chill filtered, un-like Ardbeg's other releases which are typically un-chillfiltered and bottled in the iconic green bottle at 46% or above.

Now discontinued and becoming increasingly difficult to find.

Ardbeg Galileo 1999

Released in September 2012, the Ardbeg Galileo quickly sold out at retailers. Aged for 12- 13 years, the Galileo is a combination of casks matured in first-fill bourbon casks and a peculiar Marsala enhanced version of Ardbeg Alligator.

Port Charlotte 8 Year Old Rothaich Reserve (Only 40 Bottles)

A independant bottling of Port Charlotte, carrying the title 'Rothaich Reserve'

Distilled 12th June 2001 and bottled 10th July 2009, matured in cask #32.

Ardbeg 1995 Gordon and Macphail

Distilled in June 1995 and just under 10 years later in February 2005 by Gordon and Macphail.

Matured in first and second fill sherry casks.

Ardbeg Ardbog

Released as Ardbeg’s annual Feis Ile offering at the start of June, alongside Ardbeg distillery it was also released at Ardbeg Embassies. 

A vatting of 10 year old Ardbeg matured in bourbon casks with a ‘heart’ matured in Manzanilla sherry casks. 

Lochside 1991 Gordon and Macphail 15 Year Old

Lochside distilled in September 1991 and bottled by Gordon and Macphail in September 2006, this 15 year old whisky was mostly matured in refill bourbon barrels.

Laphroaig 15 Year Old

Now discontinued this is the Laphroaig 15 year old which Prince Charles loved so much.

Ardbeg 1998 Dun Bheagan 14 Year Old

A 14 year old independant ARdbeg, bottled by Ian Macleod within their Dun Bheagan range of whiskies.

Distilled in June 1998 and bottled in 2012 from two casks #91031 and 91032.

Only 1,216 bottles were released.

Littlemill 12 Year Old

The old official bottling from this lowland distillery, long discontinued.
