Laphroaig 40 Year Old

Distilled in 1960, this 40 year old was the official release following the 1960 vintage 40 year old at Oddbins.

The casks were matured in Warehouse #1 for 40 years, prior to bottling on 29th May 2001.  A mere 3,300 bottles of this Laphroaig 40 year old were made available and it remains the oldest official release of Laphroaig to date.

Distilled in 1967 bottled in 2004 by Scott's Selection.

Ayrshire 1970 Gordon and Macphail 

A rare bottling from the elusive Ayrshire distillery, distilled in 1970 and bottled 30 years later in 2000 by Gordon and Macphail.

Released within their Rare Old series of whiskies, carrying the brown and yellow label.

Johnnie Walker 1820 

A rare bottle of Johnnie Walker produced as a one - off blend for the Taiwanese market.

A premium blend expected to contain whiskies around 21 years old.

Linlithgow 1974 Old Malt Cask 26 Year Old

An older vintage of Linlithgow, we rarely ever see any St Magadalene / Linlithgow distilled in the early 1970s these days.

Distilled in February 1974 and bottled within Douglas Laing's Old Malt Cask range 26 years later in May 2000.

This single cask Linlightow produced 330 bottles.

Laphroaig Royal Warrant 10 Year Old

A limited edition version of Laphroaig 10 year old bottled to commemorate Laphroaig being granted a Royal warrant by Prince Charles.

Limited to 2,200 bottles.

Lochside 1991 Gordon and Macphail 15 Year Old

Lochside distilled in September 1991 and bottled by Gordon and Macphail in September 2006, this 15 year old whisky was mostly matured in refill bourbon barrels.

Now discontinued this is the Laphroaig 15 year old which Prince Charles loved so much.

Laphroaig 12 Year Old Cairdeas Feis Ile 2009

Laphroaig decided to make their Islay festival bottlings available to not just distillery visitors but the Friends of Laphroaig Online fan club, fitting then that Cairdeas means \"friendship\" in Gaelic.

The 12 year old Cairdeas was released at the Islay Festival, Feis Ile 2009.

Limited to 4000 bottles.

Lagavulin 1995 Distillers Edition 2011

The 2011 Distillers Edition release of Lagavulin from Diageo, distilled in 1995 and finished in Pedro Ximenez casks.

Johnnie Walker Green Label 15 Year Old

No longer available in the UK and increasingly difficult to find the Johnnie Walker Green Label was a blended (Vatted) malt produced by Diageo.

Ledaig 1990 Against the Grain (Deadleg) 16 Year Old

An independant bottling from the legendary wine merchant, Oddbin's.  The Against the Grain series consisted of 9 bottles from distilleries they 'tried' to keep secret, this Deadleg is likely to be from Ledaig distillery.

Distilled on 31st October 1990 and bottled on 7th November 2006 as a 16 year old, matured exclusively in a refill sherry hogshead #24.

Tullibardine 10 Year Old (Old Style)

A discontinued version of Tullibardine 10 year old.

The Whisky Connoisseur 500 Year Old Malt 1494 - 1994

An unusual blended (vatted) malt to mark the Quincentenary (500th) anniversary of Friar John Cor's reference to the distillation of malt for Aqua Vitae in 1494.

The malts total age of the malts used to produce this is over 500 years.

Johnnie Walker 1805 Celebration Blend

A near mythical bottle of Johnnie Walker,  Jim Beveridge was asked to create one of the rarest and exclusive whiskies to mark the 200th anniversary of John Walker's birthday.

This exceedingly rare Johnnie Walker was never intended for public sale as all of the bottles were gifted to people who (in the companies opinion) ‘made a significant contribution to modern life’, the company has never divulged this list.

This very limited whisky was produced from only 9 casks all aged between 45 and 70 years old and limited to only 200 bottles.  

The presentation of this bottle is exceptional, the bottle is nestled inside a lockable victorian style writing case alongside a replica antique nib pen and a recreation of John Walker's son Alexander Walker II's handwritten book of blending recipes.  The writing along the etched onto the bottle reads from the oldest remaining document in their archives: \"The inventory of the estate and effects of John Walker, November 1819\"
