Highland Park 1995 Gordon and MacPhail Single Cask / Whisky Castle

An independent single cask Highland Park distilled 13th July 1995 and bottled in February 2016 by Gordon & MacPhail. This is part of their Exclusive single casks range and was bottled for Whisky Castle.

Cask #1487 was a refill American oak hogshead.

Yellowstone 7 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon 101 Proof / 2015 Edition

Yellowstone is a historic pre-prohibition bourbon brand, created by J.B. Dant at the Gesthemane distillery, although was associated more closely with Yellowstone distillery (producer of Ezra Brooks) and its owners, the Thompson family (of Glenmore distillery).

Following the closure of Yellowstone by its new owners, United Distillers, in the 1990s, the brand was eventually procured by Luxco who, as with all of their products, have it distilled and bottled under contract at Heaven Hill.

In 2015, Paul and Steve Beam, descendents of the Beam and Dant families, reached an agreement with Luxco to begin producing the brand at their new Limestone Branch distillery. This was bottled there, although at 7 years old, this is still Heaven Hill whiskey in the bottle.

An official bottling of triple distilled Springbank, supposedly for trade purposes, but available to anyone at the distillery. 

Distilled on the 10th June 2008 and bottled at 10 years of age.

A recent addition to the Yamazaki range. We don't know too much about the Yamazaki Distiller's Reserve, except that the casks used do include some Mizunara Japanese oak and Bourdeaux wine casks.

Haig's Dimple 1950s

An old bottle of Dimple from around 1950s.

Dimple is a premium blend produced by Haig's, which has a higher malt influence from Linkwood and Glenkinchie than its sister blend, Haig's Gold.

Interestingly, in 1958 the Dimple bottle was the first container to be trademarked by the US Patent office thanks to its unique design.

Hibiki Japanese Harmony Master's Select

A new addition to the Hibiki range, a blend of over ten malts and grains featuring Yamazaki, Hakushu, and Chita all aged in five types of cask. 

As always with Hibiki the bottle always has 24 facets representing the 24 seasons of the Japanese lunar calendar.

Developed by fourth generation chief blender Shinji Fukuyo with production overseen by third generation master blender and great-grandson of the founder, Shingo Torii.

An unusual single cask bottling of Highland Park, bottled by Liquid Gold Enterprises and officially imported by Rinaldi to the Italian market.

Distilled in 1989, matured in hogshead #1897 and bottled in 2001.

Fratelli Rinaldi import for the Italian market.

Heaven Hill Kentucky Bourbon

This is a non-age statement bourbon from Heaven Hill, likely aged around 5-7 years (as anything between 3 and 5 is required by law to be stated).

Bottled in the early 1990s at the old Heaven Hill distillery in Bardstown. This distillery burned down in 1996 and production has taken place at their new facility in Bernheim since 1999.

Hazelburn 2002 Single Cask 15 Year Old / Cognac Butt

Hazelburn is produced at Springbank distillery, and is triple distilled without any peat influence.

This Hazelburn was distilled in December 2002, matured for 15 years in a single ex-Cognac butt before being bottled in November 2018.

One of only 414 bottles filled exclusively for the UK market.
