Yamazaki Sherry Cask 2009 / First Release

The original release of Yamazaki sherry cask, released back in 2009.

Matured in Oloroso sherry casks for between 12 and 15 years , the 2013 bottling recently won 'Best Whisky in the World' according to Jim Murray and his Whisky Bible.

Hakushu 25 Year Old

The very rare Hakushu 25 Year old... Jim Murray gave it 93 out of 100 and said \"a malt which is impossible not to be blown away by\".

Yoichi 1988 Single Cask #100215

Distilled in June 1988 and bottled in July 2013.

This is a 25 Year Old Single Cask from Nikka's flagship Yoichi distillery in Japan..

Bottled at 62% from cask #100215.

Yamazaki 18 Year Old Mizunara Oak 2017 Edition

An 18 year old malt from the oldest whisky distillery in Japan. In order to create the expression, Suntory’s chief blender Shinji Fukuyo tasted a hundreds of mizunara-matured whiskies and selected casks with varying ages.

Mizunara oak is incredibly rare.

Yamazaki Sherry Cask 2016

This Yamazaki was matured in Oloroso sherry casks, and is composed of whisky aged up to 25 years old, all vatted together by chief blender Shinji Fukuyo.

This bottling is the follow up to the famous 2013 release which won 'Best Whisky in the World' according to Jim Murray and his Whisky Bible.

5000 bottles were produced which is less than third of the quantity of the previous release of Yamazaki Sherry Cask, of which there were approximately 16,000 bottles.

Hakushu 1993 Single Cask #3C40792 / Spanish Oak Bota Corta

Hakushu Suntory's other excellent distillery which is often over looked for Yamazaki. This Hakushu was distilled in 1993 and matured in Spanish oak Bota Corta cask #3C40788

Matured at the Ohmi Aging Cellar.

Highland Park 1955 Gordon and MacPhail Original 'Cask' / Meregalli Import

An old bottling of Highland Park from Gordon and MacPhail. 

Distilled in 1955 and bottled at cask strength as part of the Original 'Cask' series in 1989.

This was imported by Giuseppe Meregalli, the Italian agent for Gordon & MacPhail since the mid-1980s.

Highland Park 1959 21 Year Old

A very old bottling of Highland Park which was distilled in 1959 and bottled in 1980. The neck tag which lists this information is missing. 

Bottled for the Japanese market.

Also note that this bottle is leaking and therefor we would advise that it is collected by the winning bidder in person. 

Yamazaki 1989 Owner's Cask #9V70346 / Super Premium Magazine Serai

A single cask Yamazaki, distilled in 1989 and bottled in 2006 for Super Premium magazine Serai.

Bottle number 60 of only 146 drawn from a single hogshead, matured in the Ohmi Aging Cellar at Suntory's flagship distillery.

Highland Park 40 Year Old

First released in April 2008, this is a delicious offering from Scotland's northernmost distillery.

The glassware was produced by Stölzle Flaconnage.

Hibiki 21 Year Old Mount Fuji 2nd Edition

To commemorate Mount Fuji  - the highest peak in Japan - being added to the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List in 2013, Suntory released this special edition. 

The Hibiki bottle always has 24 facets representing the 24 seasons of the Japanese lunar calendar, and this special release has been redecorated with a painting of a scenic view of Mount Fuji. 

Bottled in 2015 and presented in a wooden box, this is the second edition. The first edition was released in 2014.

Yamazaki Mizunara Cask 2013

Yamazaki has been thrust into the spotlight after their Sherry Cask release of 2013 received the title of Best Whisky in the World title from Jim Murray.  

They have released several other limited annual editions including this Mizunara matured bottling.    

Mizunara (Japanese Oak) is famous for imparting it's own characteristics onto the whisky stored within them such as sandalwood and other notes.  

Yoichi 1986 Single Cask #112112

A single cask Yoichi, Nikka Whisky's flagship distillery.

Distilled on 2nd June 1986 and bottled in on the 14th July 2008 as a 15 Year Old for La Maison Du Whisky.

This limited edition was released to celebrate the new millennium in 2000.

Hanyu 2000 Ichiro's Malt Single Cask #63 / LMDW

A fairly recent bottling of Hanyu, exclusively retailed by La Maison Du Whisky.

Distilled in 2000 and bottled in 2015, this impressively labelled bottling was matured in a single hogshead, cask #63.

The label features artwork entitled 'Double Lines' by Tay Bak Chiang, 2014.

Highland Park 1961 The Dragon

The Dragon independent bottlings of Highland Park are legendary, this vintage is from 1961.

These bottlings were produced by Robertson's of Kirkwall throughout the 1980's and 1990's.
