Caroni 1996 Caroni Employees 22 Year Old Full Proof Heavy Rum / John 'D' Eversley

A full proof heavy rum from the now lost Caroni distillery in Trinidad.

This is part of the Caroni Employees series from Velier, and honours John 'D' Eversley, who worked there from 1981 until its closure in 2003.

One of 1192 bottles produced from a stock of barrels selected by Luca Gargano and Olivier Sears in 2018.

A full proof heavy rum from the lost caroni distillery in Trinidad.

Distilled in 1994 then aged in Trinidad until 2008, before being further aged in Guyana until it was bottled in 2012.

Chartreuse De Voiron Green Label

Originally created in 1605 by monks using a recipe for an elixir of long life. 

This Chartreuse was made in the Voiron production facility in France.

There is no ABV stated on the bottle.

Caperdonich 1968 Gordon and MacPhail 17 Year Old / Meregalli Import

An independent bottling from closed Speyside distillery, Caperdonich.

Distilled in 1968 and bottled 17 Years later by Gordon and MacPhail as part of their Connoisseurs Choice range.

Imported by Meregalli, who remain the official Italian distributor for Gordon & MacPhail to this day.

The Connoisseurs Choice label is one of the most recognisable independent bottlings on the market. It was initially created for renowned Italian importer, Edoardo Giaccone in the early 1970s, but became a mainstay of the core Gordon & MacPhail portfolio in 1979.

Caol Ila 1979 Whisky Agency 32 Year Old / The Nectar

An independent bottling of Caol Ila, distilled in 1979 matured 32 years in an ex-bourbon cask.

Bottled in 2011 for the Whisky Agency in collaboration with The Nectar.

Distilled March 1997 at an undisclosed Speyside distillery (rumoured to be Mortlach) and bottled September 2018 by Ian Macleod Distillers.

Convalmore Cadenheads 26 Year Old

From Speysides now closed Convalmore distillery which fell silent in 1985.

Distilled in 1977 and bottled in May 2003.

The liquid has been aged in a Spanish sherry butt.

Caroni 1997 Silver Seal 16 Year Old Rum

A single cask Silver Seal bottling of Caroni, distilled in 1997 and bottled in 2013.

Silver Seal was founded by Ernesto Mainardi in 2000. This was Mainardi's second bottling company after the esteemed Sestane in 1979, and this later Silver Seal collection is named in its honour. Both companies were sold to Massimo Righi in 2010.

Caol Ila 1982 Cooper's Choice 30 Year Old / Limburg Whisky Fair 2013

A very well aged Caol Ila, distilled in 1982, and bottled for the Limburg Whisky Fair 2013.

Matured in a single hogshead, this is a Cooper's Choice bottling from the Vintage Malt Whisky Co.

Uitvlugt 1980 'Port Morant' Bristol Classic Demerara Rum

 A 1980 demerara rum distilled at Uitvlugt distillery in Guyana on their Port Morant wooden double pot still, moved there after the distillery of that name's closure in the 1950s. 

The last stills of their kind in existence, these stills were relocated again to the Diamond when the Uitvlugt distillery closed in 2000. 

Bottled by Bristol Spirits in 2010. 

Crabbie 25 Year Old Speyside Single Malt

This is a well-aged Speyside single malt bottled at 25 years old by John Crabbie & Co. in Leith, Edinburgh.

The bottle is presented in an elegant wooden box and is number 117 of 988.

The Crabbie whisky brand was revived in 2018, with its own distillery set to open in 2019. Prior to this, Crabbie whisky had not been seen on shleves since the 1970s, and has become better associated with alcoholic ginger beer.

Chita 2001 Wine Cask Finish 50cl / The Essence of Suntory

A single grain addition to The Essence of Suntory Whisky series.

This is a Chita distilled in 2001 and finished for 4 years in a wine cask before being bottled in 2018.

A heavy rum distilled in 1994 at the now lost Caroni distillery.

Aged in Trinidad until 2008 and then transferred to Guyana where this was bottled in 2011.

Craigduff 1973 Signatory Vintage 32 Year Old Cask Strength

A very rare experimental whisky, produced at Strathisla distillery using heavily peated malt.  Occasionally there has been some controversy over the origin of Craigduff and some people have suggested it was actually produced at Glen Keith distillery, wherever it was produced it is extremely rare as only a handful of casks have ever been bottled independently by Signatory Vintage.

Distilled on the 4th April 1973 and bottled on 25th August 2005, this 32 year old Craigduff was matured exclusively in a Sherry butt, cask #2513.

Caperdonich 1970 Celtic Legends

A 1970 vintage bottling from closed distillery, Caperdonich. Bottled by Liquid Gold as part of their Celtic Legends series.

Hogshead #3157 was specially selected by John McDougall, renowned distiller and author of Wort, Worms and Washbacks.

Bottled in 2001.

Caroni 1996 100 Proof 20 Year Old

Distilled in 1996 at the now lost Caroni distillery.

Aged in Trinidad for 20 years, this is bottle number 221 of 3800 bottled in 2016.

This is the '34rd' release. 

Clynelish 1996 Signatory Vintage 21 Year Old / Local Dealer Selection

A Signatory Vintage bottling of Clynelish, distilled on 28th June 1996 and bottled on 22nd November 2017. 

Part of the Local Dealer Selection range, this was matured in refill sherry butt #6523.

Signatory Vintage were established in 1988 by Andrew Symington and are one of Scotland's most prolific independent bottlers. Their offices and bottling facility are located next to Edradour distillery, which they have also owned since 2002.
