Springbank 1999 Local Barley 16 Year Old

A recent release of Springbank that has all but vanished from the shelves within hours of release.  

The first 'Local Barley' release from Springbank in decades (with one or two exceptions).  Distilled in September 1999 and bottled in January 2016, the 'local barley' comes from the varietal 'Prisma' and was grown on the Kintyre Peninsula, Low Machrimore Farm.

Limited to only 9,000 bottles.

Tomatin 1962 Part Nan Angelen

A small batch bottling of Tomatin, distilled in 1962 at an altitude of 315 meters apparently.

Bottled by Swedish bottlers, Part Nan Angelen.

One of 1428 bottles.

Springbank 15 Year Old

The 15 year old Springbank is incredibly popular for drinkers and collectors, with old and new releases generating plenty of interest! This edition was from the early 1990s and is sometimes referred to as the \"Parchment label.\"

The label bears the signature of Springbank distiller, J. Archibald Mitchell.

A 1990s bottling of Springbank 12 year old, with a 'Green Thistle' on the label. It's rumoured that this particular bottling contains much older liquid than your standard 12 year old Springbank.

Teeling 13 Year Old The Revival Volume 2 / Calvados Casks

To celebrate the introduction of Whiskey distillation to Dublin, the Teeling family have produced a number of commemorative bottlings.

This is the second bottle in the Revival series, following the Rum Barrels release.

Matured for 12 years in bourbon casks before a final year maturation in Calvados casks..

The distillery is hidden in the title. It's All About Springbank!

Aged for 16 years in Bourbon and then 9 years in Chateau Petrus, this bottle is limited to only 183.

Teeling 15 Year Old The Revival / Rum Barrels

To celebrate the introduction of Whiskey distillation to Dublin, the Teeling family have produced a number of commemorative bottlings.

This 15 year old was distilled in 1999, likely at the Teeling family's formerly-owned Cooley distillery. It was aged exclusively in rum barrels.

One of 10,000 bottles.

Tomatin 1976 Jack Wiebers 30 Year Old

Tomatin distilled in 1976 and matured in sherry cask then bottled in 2011. 

One of 180 bottles. 

Tamnavulin 1968 Admiral's Cask 45 Year Old

A fantastically well-aged bottling from Speyside distillery, Tamnavulin. This is part of The Admiral's Cask series from WM Spirits in Germany.

This is the fifth in the series, which also incluides a 42 year old Ben Nevis and a 35 year old Longmorn. Each bottling is labelled with an antique nautical map.

Distilled in 1968 and bottled from a bourbon cask in 2013, this is number 24 of just 54 filled.

Tamnavulin 33 Year Old Stillman's Dram

A Tamnavulin, bottled by Invergordon Distillers for the Stillman's Dram range at 33 year old.

Sullivan's Cove French Oak #HH0423

Sullivan's Cove French Oak has quickly become an very desirable bottle of whisky, particularly after being awarded the best single malt in the world 2014, at the World Whisky Awards - the first time that a Scottish whisky was not given this award.  That's not all it has received great acclaim elsewhere from whisky writers/reviews.

Distilled on 8th August 2000 and bottled on the 26th August 2013, this 13year old whisky was matured exclusively in French oak casks.

Taketsuru 21 Year Old Pure Malt Non-Chill Filtered 2014 / 80th Anniversary

Released by Nikka, this range of blended malts is named after Nikka's founder and a key member of the birth of Japanese whisky, Masataka Taketsuru.

Taketsuru 21 year old is highly acclaimed and has received many awards.

This is a special 2014 release of the brand, bottled non-chill filtered for the 80th anniversary of Nikka.
