An indpendent bottling from Lowland distillery, Auchentoshan.

Distilled in 1994, matured in a hogshead and bottled in 2016 for The Whisky Agency and Three Rivers bar in Tokyo.

A young Ardbeg distilled on the 20th December 2005and matured in a 2nd fill ex-sherry butt. 

One of 679 bottles filled by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society.

The conclusion of Ardbeg's 'Peaty Path to Maturity', distilled in 1998 and bottled as a celebration for Ardbeg reaching 10 years old following the rebirth of the distillery in the hands of Glenmorangie PLC.

This Ardbeg was released in connection with the North Highland Initiative (NHI) a charity which helps rural communities across the Northern Highlands.

Elegantly packaged, it is a combination of first fill and refill ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks.  Please do not mistake this Kildalton for that which was released in 2004, 10 years previously.

Woodford Reserve Master's Collection / 1838 Sweet Mash

Woodford Reserve is produced by Brown-Forman at the historic former Old Oscar Pepper distillery, who's alumni included James E. Crow and E.H. Taylor. It is known now as the Woodford Reserve distillery after it was purchased from former owners Labrot & Graham. The distillery is one of the few in the US to use only alembic pot stills (although the regular release is contains column still bourbon from the Brown-Forman Early Times distillery in Louisville).

Released in 2008, this was the fourth releases in Woodford Reserve's Master's Collection. It features a classic bourbon mash but without the setback used in the traditional Sour Mash. This reduces the acidity, stressing the yeast and producing a different set of congeners and thus a different flavour profile.

The Feis Ile release for 2016, this was matured in ex-Bourbon casks with a heart matured in dark sherry casks. 

The style has been inspired by the history of illicit distilling on the Island of Islay. Many islanders were involved in this activity, including Allan and Alexander the uncles of John McDougall founder of Ardbeg distillery. 

This is the general release, a more available lower ABV edition launched for Ardbeg Day/Night.

Ardmore 1995 Gordon and MacPhail Single Cask / Kirsch Whisky 40th Anniversary

An independent bottling of Ardmore, distilled 20th June 1995 and bottled in November 2016 by Gordon & MacPhail. This is part of their Exclusive single casks range and was bottled for the 40th anniversary of Kirsch Whisky.

Cask #7886 was a refill sherry hogshead.

Aberlour A'bunadh Batch #18

Aberlour A'Bunadh is bottled at cask strength in the tradition of 19th century single malts when villagers would come to the distillery to collect their dram straight from the cask, often in apothecary bottles obtained from the village chemist. These were the inspiration for the A'Bunadh bottle shape today.

A'bunadh is bottled using only first fill Oloroso sherry butts, this is batch #18.
