Lagavulin 16 Year Old White Horse Including Miniature​

A bottling of Ron Swanson and Jonny Depp's favourite, Lagavulin 16.

This bottle is especially rare, from the White Horse era.

Hakushu 1981 \"Kioke Shiomi\" Pure Malt 

There is a great deal of debate as to whether or not this is a single malt, Suntory were renowned for using the term \"Pure Malt\" for both single malts and blended malts and a high number of bloggers have stated that this is 100% Hakushu. 

The translation of ‘Kioke Shikomi’ seems strange because although it means “matured in a wooden tub”, 'kioke’ normally refers to a tub used for making sake.

Highland Park Fire Edition 15 Year Old

Highland Park's new limited edition following the success of the Highland Park Ice.  Similiarly to the Ice, the Fire is the second of this series and comes in wood shaped like a mountain and a cut glass bottle. 

Most importantly the whisky is 15 years of age and matured in refill Port casks.

An independent bottling of Linkwood distilled in 1986 and bottled 30 years later.

Hazelburn 2002 Sauternes Wood Finish 8 Year Old

Hazelburn is produced at Springbank distillery, without (much) peat influence and triple distilled.

This Hazelburn was distilled in June 2002 before being matured for 5 years in refill bourbon casks and matured for a further 3 years in Sauternes casks.

Limited to 9,180 bottles.

Lagavulin 1990 The Syndicate's 14 Year Old

The Syndicate seem to be a group of whisky lovers with good connections (independent bottles of Lagavulin are incredibly rare), they also seem to have access to Bruichladdich's bottling hall.

Distilled in 1990, bottled in 2014.

When they launched That Boutique-y Whisky Company, they did so at a masterclass at Maltstock, a whisky festival south of Nijmegen each year. This label features those who attended the masterclass and voted to decide the contents of this Highland Park.

Awarded 90.5% by Jim Murray in 2015 with the comment \"lovely\".

Laphroaig 1999 SMWS 17 Year Old 29.190

Otherwise known as 'Divine dark temptation', SMWS label their whiskies depending on the tasting notes and comments provided from their tasting panels.

This Laphroaig was distilled on 25th Mar 1999 and bottled as a 17 year old, only 582 bottles were released.

Released during the Feis Ile 2013, the latest edition of Laphroaig Cairdeas was matured in bourbon casks for 8 years prior to being finished in port pipes for 14 months.

Distilled October 1991 and bottled October 2010 from a refill hogshead. 

Lochside stopped producing in the early 1990s.

Littlemill 1992 Scotland and Malt 24 Year Old

Distilled in 1992, and finished in a Sherry Cask, before being bottled in 2016 by Scotland and Malt as a 24 year old.

Longrow 2001 Fresh Sherry Butt 14 Year Old

A 14 year old fresh sherry butt matured Longrow released exclusively for the Springbank Society.

Distilled in October 2001 and bottled in October 2016.

Laphroaig Feis Ile 2010 Cairdeas Master Edition

Laphroaig decided to make their Islay festival bottlings available to not just distillery visitors but the Friends of Laphroaig Online fan club. Fitting then that Cairdeas means \"friendship\" in Gaelic.

The Master Edition released at Feis Ile 2010 contains whiskies aging from 11 to 19 years old.

Lochside 1990 Douglas Laing 14 Year Old

Distilled October 1990 and bottled February 2005 from a refill hogshead. 

Lochside stopped producing in the early 1990s. 

One of 324 bottles. 

Littlemill 1991 Douglas Laing 19 Year Old

Distilled in November 1991 and bottled in November 2010 after 19 years maturing in a refill hogshead, this is a Littlemill bottled by Douglas Laing. 

One of 340 bottles. 

Highland Park Saint Magnus 12 Year Old 2nd Edition

Saint Magnus, follows the initial Earl Magnus release but sees the once ruler of Orkney become a Saint.  The second within the trilogy, with the same elaborate packaging and a 12 year old whisky, again bottled at cask strength.

Only 11,994 bottles of the Saint Magnus were created.

A 14 year old fresh sherry butt matured Longrow released exclusively for the Springbank Society.

The first release of heavily peated Bruichladdich in Speciality Drink's Elements of Islay range. 

Much like Port Charoltte (40ppm) and Octomore (80+ppm), Lochindaal is Bruichladdich with a higher peat content (50ppm) 

Lagavulin Jazz Festival 2015

Released annually to coincide with Lagavulin’s sponsorship of the Islay Jazz Festival, this particular release had production issues and didn't appear until long after the Festival had finished. 

Produced from hand selected refill American oak casks and European oak bodega casks.

This years release as usual has been hotly anticipated and has been created from a blend of well matured refill American Oak and First Fill ex bourbon American Oak casks
