Glenfiddich 20 Year Old Rare Cask

An exceptionally rare bottling of Glenfiddich released as a unique distillery exclusive.

This 20 year old whisky was matured initially in US Refill and European Oak casks, until re-barrelled into a single Bourbon Barrel on the 17th of July 2008 and placed in Warehouse No 33.  

This, Single Cask No 4, was then bottled on the 27th of July 2015.

This is the 1st release and Bottle No. 10 of only 96 bottles.

Glenmorangie Single Cask 16 Year Old / 400 Years of Golf in Dornoch Including 2 Club Bottles 3 x 70cl

A very rare official bottling of single cask Glenmorangie, that has been matured for 16 years in an ex-oloroso sherry cask before being bottled at cask strength in 2016 to commerate the 400 year celebrations at Royal Dornoch Golf Club.

Only 500 bottles were produced with 400 available direct from the club, and 100 from Glenmorangie itself.

Bottle Number 91 of 504. 

This lot also includes the 10 and 15 year old Captain's Malts and a signed Calender

Glengoyne 1968 Vintage Reserve

A 25 year old Glengoyne distilled in April 1968 and limited to a mere 4,000 bottles.

Glenrothes John Ramsay

Selected by the retiring malt master John Ramsay after 43 years of service, this bottling came from a vatting of twenty, second fill American oak sherry casks racked into sherry butts. The two best casks were then vatted together.

Gibley's Spey Royal Scotch Whisky Circa 1930s

An old blend we estimate to be from the 1930s. 

The label states that it's 30 under proof by distillation when bottled. The Dilution of proof to \"30 under proof\" was introduced in 1917 and changed to the use of just \"Proof\" in the 1940s. 

The history of W&A Gibley is interesting, Founded in 1857 they owned a number of distilleries and were big in the blend market. In 1962 they formed IDV which was one of the companies that eventually formed Diageo.

Glen Grant 1959 Gordon and MacPhail

Distilled in 1959 and bottled by Gordon and MacPhail in 1999.

Glenmorangie 1987 Distillery Manager's Choice

Distilled on the 16th November 1987, matured in ex-bourbon casks before being finished in a large port pipe from the 10th of June 1998, and bottled on the 18th May 2001.  Selected by the Glenmorangie distillery manager.

A presentation case of three Glendronach single casks.

The single cask bottlings are as follows:

• 1993 matured in a PX Sherry Puncheon, 21 year old at 52.7%
• 2003 matured in a Oloroso Sherry Puncheon, 12 year old at 55.4%
• 1993 matured in a Oloroso Sherry Butt, 23 year old at 57.5%

A 1980s bottling of 21 year old Glen Garioch.

This is bound to be an amazing whisky from this relatively unknown highland distillery.

Glen Garioch is reknowned for having a peatier characteristic until circa 1974.
