The Rare Malt Selection is an historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that was released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

One of the two Rare Malt releases by Diageo, this particular 22 year old was distilled in 1978 and bottled in October 2000.

Port Charlotte is a heavily peated spirit produced by Bruichladdich in remembrance and hope for a long list distillery at Port Charlotte on Islay, which closed in 1929. 

Matured in both bourbon and sherry cask this 5 year old spirit was limited to 6,038 bottles.

A independent bottling from Speciality Drinks of a mystery 30 year old Islay malt, perhaps from a distillery near Port Askaig on the north east shores of Islay.... maybe just maybe Caol Ila. 

Pernod Fils Absinthe Tarragona 1960s

A very old bottle of Absinthe produced by the Parisien company Pernod.  Similar to the story of Chartreuse, throughout parts of the 20th century, Pernod distilled their spirits in the Spanish city of Tarragona.  This Absinthe Tarragona was produced between the 1940s and 1960s.
