Tamdhu 1950 23 Year Old

A 1950 vintage Tamdhu from The Highland Distillery Co. Bottled at 23 years old in 1973. 

At this era of production at Tamdhu the distillery was operated in a very traditional method. Floor malted barley, coal fired stills, peat, Very long fermentation and worm tubs. . . this is how whisky was!

Wolfburn Single Malt Selection 6 x 70cl / Including 2016 Inaugural Release

Located in Thurso, this is the northernmost distillery on the UK mainland. Based around a long lost distillery that ended around 1850, this new Wolfburn reopened in 2013.​

• 40% matured in 2nd filled quarter casks

Taketsuru 25 Year Old

A very rare bottling of Taketsuru, originally introduced in 2012 this blended malt contains casks from Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries.

It is extremely limited and only 120 bottles were available throughout Europe, this bottle was released in Asia. 

Tomatin 1967 Signatory Vintage 40 Year Old

An independent Tomatin from Signatory Vintage distilled 27th January 1967 and bottled 18th July 2007.

Cask No 2632; Bottle No 47 of 415.

This was a Japanese export bottle.

William L. Weller 2016 Release

Released within the famous and eagerly awaited Buffalo Trace Antique Collection. 

In recent years, due to the known similarity between W.L. Weller and Van Winkle, and Weller's resulting huge increase in popularity and demand, the William L. Weller bottlings have become increasingly harder to get hold of.

The 2016 bottling features 145 barrels which were filled in the winter of 2003 at 114 Proof (57%), with the whiskey drawn in autumn 2016 after 12 years and 7 months of ageing at 135.4 Proof (67.7%) and bottled unfiltered.  The malt bill features Grade #1 and #2 Kentucky corn, North Dakota wheat and North Dakota malted barley.

Whistlepig 11 Year Old Straight Rye

A straight rye whisky, finished in bourbon wood barrels and hand bottled at Whistlepig farm, Vermont. 

11 Years old and bottled at 111 Proof (55.5%).

In recent years, due to the known similarity between W.L. Weller and Van Winkle, and Weller's resulting huge increase in popularity and demand, the William L. Weller bottlings have become increasingly harder to get hold of.

The 2015 bottling features 105 barrels which were filled in the spring of 2003 at 114 Proof (57%), with the whiskey drawn in autumn 2015 after 12 years and 3 months of ageing, at 134.6 Proof (67.3%) and bottled unfiltered.  The malt bill features Grade #1 and #2 Kentucky corn, North Dakota wheat and North Dakota malted barley.

Handy - have both become increasingly popular, and then increasingly harder to get hold of.  Particularly so after the T.H. Handy Sazerac Straight Rye Whiskey 2011 release was named Jim Murray's \"Whisky of the Year!\"

The 2016 bottling features 61 hand-picked barrels which were filled in the spring of 2010 at 125 Proof (62.5%), with the whiskey drawn in autumn 2016 after 6 years and 3 months of ageing at 126.2 Proof (63.1%) and bottled unfiltered.  The malt bill features Minnesota Rye, Grade #1 and #2 Kentucky corn and North Dakota malted barley.
