Saburomaru 1960 55 Year Old Japanese Single Malt

This is the oldest bottled Japanese whisky ever... 

Wakatsuru Shozou own Saburomaru Distillery, which has been producing limited amounts of whisky since 1952/3, This was distilled in 1960 and matured in a red wine cask with the characteristics of \"Port\" for 55 years.

The malt was heavily peated and distilled in a continuous still (By current Scotch Whisky Association rules this wouldn't be allowed to be called a single malt if produced in Scotland). 

One of only 155 bottles.

Remy Martin Louis XIII Cognac Tres Vieille 1950s

Remy Martin is perhaps the most well known of all Cognac producers and has established a reputation for quality that very few others can relate to.

This is a spectacular 1950s example of the Louis XIII Tres Vieille Cognac Baccarat decanter which holds Grande Champagne cognac aged between 40 and 100 years.

Springbank 35 Year Old Millennium Limited Edition

An older expression from this Campbeltown classic. This was bottled in September 1999 for the Millennium as part of a range of 6 bottles. 

The set comprised whiskies bottled at 25, 30, 35, 40, 45 and 50 years. 

Remy Martin Louis XIII Cognac Circa 1970s

Remy Martin is perhaps the most well known of all Cognac producers and has established a reputation for quality that very few others can relate to.

This is a stunning older example of their Louis XIII Baccarat decanter, which holds Grande Champagne cognac aged between 40 and 100 years.

The 21 year old Springbank is incredibly popular for drinkers and collectors, usually selling out in shops very quickly! This edition was from the late 1980s/ early 1990s and refered to as the \"Parchment label\".

Scapa 16 Year Old Jutland Memorial Edition / Single Cask

A very unusual single cask official offering from Scapa, released in 2016 to commemorate the Battle of Jutland, which occured in 1916.

A first fill American oak single cask was exclusively bottled to tribute the 249 ships that were involved in the Battle of Jutland.

This is bottle number 168 of 249.

Springbank 1965 Lombard / No. 1 The Golfing Greats

This is a wonderful bottle, Springbank distilled on the 30th April 1965 and matured for 26 years before being bottled by Lombard Scotch Whisky in January 1991 for the US market.

Scapa 1980 25 Year Old

Old Scapa is very hard to come by, the distillery having had a very turbulent history with many periods of closure, most recently between 1994 and 2004.  

This is the oldest official release from Scapa, distilled in 1980 and bottled in 2005 from refill bourbon hogshead.

Only 2,000 bottles were released, this is bottle number 154.

Rosebank 1981 Rare Malt 20 Year Old / 62.3%

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

This Rosebank was distilled in 1981 and bottled in the May 2002 release, at another impressive abv of 62.3%.

An exclusive bicentenary release that was given to staff members in 1986. An important milestone for Speyside's oldest distillery. 

A 35 year old Strathisla, which is the home of the Chivas blend and a delicious whisky in its own right. 

Shinshu Mars 1991 Astronomical Observation 24 Year Old Sherry Cask

The Shinsu Mars distillery stopped production in 1992, in 2011 they started reproducing.

This whisky is a single cask, bottled by Whisky Talk Fukuoka 2015. Distilled in 1991 and matured in single sherry cask #157.

One of 375 bottles. 

Sazerac 18 Year Old / Spring 2016

Bottled in the Spring of 2016.

Sazerac 18 year old is widely regarded as one of the best Rye whiskies in the world.

Rosebank 1981 Flora and Fauna Cask Strength

This Flora and Fauna bottling of Rosebank has been discontinued for a number of years and was the last standard official release from Rosebank.

This was one of the rare cask-strength bottlings, distilled in 1981 and bottled in 1997.

Released within the famous and eagerly awaited Buffalo Trace Antique Collection. 

In recent years, due to the known similarity between W.L. Weller and Van Winkle, and Weller's resulting huge increase in popularity and demand, the William L. Weller bottlings have become increasingly harder to get hold of.

The 2016 bottling features 145 barrels which were filled in the winter of 2003 at 114 Proof (57%), with the whiskey drawn in autumn 2016 after 12 years and 7 months of ageing at 135.4 Proof (67.7%) and bottled unfiltered.  The malt bill features Grade #1 and #2 Kentucky corn, North Dakota wheat and North Dakota malted barley.

Royal Brackla 10 Year Old Flora and Fauna

One of the rare releases from the Flora and Fauna series, Royal Brackla 10 year old was only bottled in 1995.

Whistlepig 11 Year Old Straight Rye

A straight rye whisky, finished in bourbon wood barrels and hand bottled at Whistlepig farm, Vermont. 

11 Years old and bottled at 111 Proof (55.5%).

Strathearn Distillery Inaugural Single Cask / Bottle #29

The first of a new generation of small distilleries, Strathearn 'Probably Scotland's Smallest Distillery' produces single cask, single malt whisky using traditional methods.

This is from the very first cask that Strathearn filled, an Octave of which only 100 bottles were made available and sold through a unique auction which ended on December 1st 2016.

The cask was filled on 11th December 2013 and bottled on 13th December 2016.

Remy Martin 1974 Grand Fine Champagne Cognac / 250th Anniversary

A 1974 bottling of Remy Martin to celebrate their 250th Anniversary of the companies 1724 founding. Supposedly contains some very old and fine stock ranging from 80 to 100 years old.

Springbank 1972 Chieftain's 30 Year Old

A very well aged Springbank bottled by Ian Macleod within the Chieftain's Choice range of whiskies.

Distilled in November 1972 and bottled 30 years later in March 2003, chosen from cask #789 which yielded 252 bottles.
