Shinshu Mars 2012 Le Papillon

A 4 year old single cask release from Shinshu Mars distillery. The \"Ooruri Shijmi\" is a blue butterfly native to Japan's Nagaon Prefecture. The Papillon (French for butterfly) represents the pure and natural beuaty of the area this whisky is produced in. 

Distilled in February 2012 and bottled in December 2016 after maturing in American White Oak.

Springbank's \"Local Barley\" releases largely faded away for a few decades (with one or two exceptions), but have started to see a major comeback in recent years with its richer-than-usual style.

Distilled in February 2006 and bottled in February 2017, the 'local barley' comes from the traditional Bere varietal and was grown at Aros Farm on the Kintyre Peninsula.

Sandrone \"Cannubi Boschis\" 1993 Barolo 1.5 Litre

This DOCG Barolo is made from Nebbiolo grapes harvested from the vineyards of Langhe, matured for a minimum period of 30 months in 500 Litre French oak barrels.  1993 was an outstanding vintage for wines in Piedmont.

In addition, the great benefit to magnum-bottles is that the wine matures much slower - and thus longer - than standard bottles.

Suntory Yamazaki Very Rare Old

A fantastic bottling of Suntory whisky, long discontinued.  Presented in a unique, dumpy bottle.

Allthough these bottles were normally stated as blends, this one is stated as being from Yamazaki Distillery.  The neck label states \"Guaranteed to be a blend of the choice whiskies produced in our distillery.\"

We believe this bottle may be from the 1970s.

Springbank 1995 Sherry Pipe 14 Year Old

Originally only available to members of the Springbank Society.

Distilled June 1995 and bottled in April 2010 after being matured in a Sherry Pipe.
