Glenfiddich 50 Year Old

This famous bottling of Glenfiddich was bottled in 1991 and limited to an incredible 500 bottles, in the early 1990s one of these bottles was auctioned for charity and officially became the most expensive bottle of whisky ever sold at auction. selling for 99,999,99 Lira in an Italian charity auction.

The release was restricted to only nine casks laid down originally in the 1930s, one cask was laid down for each of William Grant's nine children, who helped to build Glenfiddich distillery in the 1880s.  After laying undisturbed, these nine casks were bottled on 26th July 1991 and presented in a hand made oak box with a brass plaque.

Each bottle was signed by Alexander Grant Gordon the former Chairman and great grandson of the companies founder and is presented with a certificate and an appointment as a Freeman of Glenfiddich distillery.

Glenfarclas 1953 Single Cask 58 Year Old

So few whiskies of this age are available these days, even Glenfarclas has no whisky remaining older than 1953. The whisky was distilled on 20th November 1953 and bottled on 13th February 2012, matured exclusively in a first fill sherry butt #1674.

A panel comprising of Serge Valentin, a whisky connoisseur and a key member of the internationally renowned Malt Maniacs, Ben Ellefsen, Sales Director for Master of Malt, Michał Kowalski of Wealth Solutions and George Grant himself, unanimously made the selection from the remaining 4 casks distilled in 1953 and cask #1674 was selected to be bottled.

This single cask bottling was released at 58 years old and sold exclusively through the Wealth Solutions, Poland.

Glenfarclas 50 Year Old / John Grant's Birth Bicentenary

A incredibly special bottle of Glenfarclas, selected by George Grant to celebrate the bi-centenary of the distillery's founder, and his great, great, great, great Grandfather, John Grant.

Only 110 were produced of this 50 Year Old, which comes in an attractive presentation box with certificate / scroll.

Glenury Royal 1953 50 Year Old

There are very few official bottling of this rare highland malt, which closed its doors for the last time in 1985.

This spectacular sherried 1953 vintage Glenury was bottled as a 50 Year old.

Hanyu 1986 King of Hearts Single Cask #9033

Hanyu is a closed Japanese distillery that received a new lease of life from Ichiro Akuto, who bottled the last of the stock in the iconic card range. 

Distilled in 1986 and bottled in 2009, after being aged in a hogshead then finished in a Pedro Ximenez sherry butt.

Hanyu 1990 Queen of Hearts #9102

This was distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2005 as part of Ichiro's legendary card series.

This is bottle number 18 of 324.

Hanyu 1990 Queen of Hearts Single Cask #9102 / Bottle No.8

The Queen of Hearts was distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2006.

Matured in a traditional hogshead before a second period of maturation in a french oak cognac wood, cask # 9102.

This bottle is only number 108 of 324.

The Hennessy Timeless was created in 1999 to showcase Hennessy's past and future and is presented in a beautiful and elegant Baccarat crystal decanter.

Hennessy was founded in 1765 by Irishman Richard Hennessy, Captain in the French Army. It took Hennessy just a few years to dominate the market and actually they have never lost their leading position since. Hennessy house the most impressive collection of vintage Cognac's within their cellar, this cognac was carefully crafted using a combination of the finest 11 vintages from the 20th century:

A single cask #60 Hanyu bottled within the Ichiro's Malt series of whiskies.

Distilled in 2000 and matured in a hogshead before being moved into a Japanese oak Mizunara Puncheon for a second maturation period prior to being bottled in 2010.

An 1980s bottling of Glenfiddich 30 Year Old in a crystal decanter. There is also a stopper with a hallmarked solid silver stags head. 

A very elegant and ornate presentation that was ahead of its time.

Hanyu 2000 Four of Hearts Single Cask #529

One of the legendary highly sought after Ichiro's Card series from Hanyu.

Distilled in 2000 and bottled in 2011, matured in a hogshead and finished in a 'Cognac'.

Highland Park 1968 / Orcadian Vintage 

Following the release of the 1964 Orcadian Vintage, the 1968 followed suit in November 2009.

This was a vatting of eight hogsheads, which yielded only 1,550 bottles.  

The presentation as always with Highland Park is spectacular, a hard wood case with a silver Highland Park amulet logo inlay and a stunning black glass bottle.

A very rare bottling of Glenfiddich exclusively bottled for the distillery.

Distilled in 1965 matured in cask # 10837.

Highland Park 20 Year Old Rebus

Ian Rankin's fictional Detective Rebus has been solving Edinburgh crimes for 20 years, this bottle was released in 2007 to celebrate this. 

Rankin specially selected this cask and the author and special friends were given the bottles as gifts, it was never available for purchase. 

A 20 year old Highland Park presented in an excellently crafted wooden box. 

One of the most rare and collectable Highland Parks available. 

One of only 150 bottles. 

Hennessy Paradis Cognac  

Hennessy was established in 1765 and quickly became known as one of the World's most reknowned Cognac producers.  

The Paradis is a blend of pver 100 eaux de vie from ages between 30 and 100 years old.

Distilled on 25th of Febuary 1971 and bottled in June 2012, this was fully matured in cask number 1247 which was a Pedro Ximinez Sherry Pucheon.

Hanyu/Kawasaki 25 Year Old Kiyosato Field Ballet 26th Anniversary

A very rare and collectible marriage of two lost Japanese distilleries: this very limited blended whisky contains 1990 Hanyu and 1982 Kawasaki.

The Hanyu was a 25 Year Old and the Kawasaki was a 33 year old. 

Bottle number 170 of 700 bottles, however there were only 200 of the hardcover editions released which features a blown glass bottle from Kobei Komaki and stopper.

Glenfiddich 30 Year Old Silver Stag's Head Decanter

A Single Cask Glenfiddich 30 Year Old with crystal decanter and stopper resembling the famous Glenfiddich Stag in a Glenfiddich branded box.

The decanter and Stag's head are part of the 1980s original release, The Glenfiddich 30 Year Old if from within the last 10 years, Bottle No 0107 drawn from Cask 00029.

Glendronach 1971 Single Cask 39 Year Old

Distilled on 25th of Febuary 1971 and bottled in June 2010, this was fully matured in cask number 489 which was a Oloroso Sherry butt.

Glenfarclas 1962 Family Cask #2639 75cl / US Import

Bottled as part of the Glenfarclas Family Cask range of vintage whiskies.

This 1962 bottled was bottled on the 27th of May 2011 from sherry hogshead #2639 yielding 129 bottles.

Glenlochy 1969 Rare Malt 26 Year Old - B297 

A very rare bottling of Glenlochy from within the Rare Malts Selection and one of the rare bottles from the series.

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

Distilled in 1969 and bottled as a 26 year old,this is bottle number 0,447.

Glendronach 1955 Gordon and Macphail 23 Year Old

What a beauty!  As old a Glendronach as you can find.  This Gordon and Macphail bottling was distilled in 1955 and bottled 23 years later.
