Arran Devil’s Punch Bowl Chapter II           

Released in mid 2013, Arran’s second edition, release in the very popular punch bowl series consists of 27 casks distilled between 1997 and 2004; 17 of which are sherry casks, 6 ‘unpeated’ bourbon casks and 4 peated bourbon casks. Known as the Angels and Devils edition, only 6,600 bottles have been released.

Ardbeg Blasda

The tamed version of Ardbeg, well to a degree anyway, Ardbeg Blasda was peated to an average of 8ppm compared to the more usual 24ppm.  Rather controversially, the Blasda was also bottled in clear glass, at 40% and has been chill filtered, un-like Ardbeg's other releases which are typically un-chillfiltered and bottled in the iconic green bottle at 46% or above.

Now discontinued and becoming increasingly difficult to find.

Amrut Single Cask Blackadder Sherry Finish

An indepentently bottled Amrut from Blackadder. 

This single cask has been bottled at cask strength.

Arran Smugglers' Series Volume 1 / The Illict Stills

A very cool nod to the shady history of Arran's distilling. Back during the 18th and 19th century the island was a producer of illicit whisky. Presented in a book style package to hide the goods. 

The whisky itself is a combination of the following: 

Arran Single Malt - Un Peated Stock Matured in 600L Port Pipes. 

Arran Single Malt - Un Peated Stock Matured in 250L Sherry Hogsheads. 

Arran Single Malt - Un Peated Stock Matured in 200L Barrels. 

Arran Single Malt - 50ppm Peated Stock Matured in 200L Barrels. 

Arran Single Malt - 14ppm Peated Stock Matured in 200L Barrels. 

One of 8,700 bottles. 

Yamazaki 10 Year Old

An older bottling of the core expression from this highly regarded Japanese distillery.

Ardbeg Still Young 1998

Ardbeg Still Young was distilled in 1998 and released in 2006, the second release on the ‘path to peaty maturity’.

Ardbeg Galileo 1999

Released in September 2012, the Ardbeg Galileo quickly sold out at retailers.

Aged for 12- 13 years, the Galileo is a combination of casks matured in first-fill bourbon casks and a peculiar Marsala enhanced version of Ardbeg Alligator.

Yamazakura 15 Year Old Pure Malt

Yamazakura distillery was closed in 1998. Some of the liquid bottled here will be upto 20 years old as some whisky from the distillery was stored in alternate containers prior to being finished in bourbon and wine casks. 

One of 2400 bottles. 

Arran 2004 Private Cask 10 Year Old / Gall and Gall Cardholders

Distilled on the 20th of September 2004 and bottled in 7th May 2015, this is a single cask Arran bottled for Gall and Gall Cardholders.

An Aberlour vintage distilled in 1988.

Ardbeg 1994 Gordon and Macphail

There are very very few Ardbeg's from this part of the 1990s as production at the distillery was sparse.

Glenmorangie took over the distillery in 1997, restarting production full-time.

Distilled in 1990 and bottled by Gordon and Macphail in 2001.

Amrut Single Cask Blackadder Sherry Finish

An indepentently bottled Peated Amrut from Blackadder.

A vatting of 10 year old Ardbeg matured in bourbon casks with a ‘heart’ matured in Manzanilla sherry casks.

Aberlour A'bunadh Batch #36

Aberlour A'bunadh is bottled using only first fill Oloroso sherry butts, this is batch #39 released in 2011.

Arguably Speyside's Finest Whisky 1988 Exclusive Malts / Taiwan 2011

A single cask natural colour Speyside single malt... (Glenfarclas perhaps?) 

Distilled on the 23rd of March 1988.

One of 233 bottles. 

Arran Westie 'Icons of Arran'

The follow up to the Arran Rowan Tree and the third in the Icons of Arran series, this bottle depicts Ruaraidh, Arran's beloved westie.

Distilled in 1998, matured in 22 ex-sherry hogsheads and bottled in 2010, only 6,000 were released.
