Yamazaki 1984

Matured in native Japanese 'Mizunara' oak casks, as well as the American and European ones. This whisky was named World's Best Single Malt Whisky at the 2011 World Whisky Awards.

Remy Martin Louis XIII Cognac Tres Vieille 1960s

Remy Martin is perhaps the most well known of all Cognac producers and has established a reputation for quality that very few others can relate to.

This is a spectacular 1960s example of the Louis XIII Tres Vieille Cognac Baccarat decanter which holds Grande Champagne cognac aged between 40 and 100 years.

Please note that this item is very old and hence very fragile. Lot is sold as photographed. There are no visible measurements on this bottle.

Yamazaki 1986 Owner's Cask Mizunara Butt #6G5029

Single cask Yamazaki's are very rare and hard to find these days.

This single cask was distilled in 1986 and matured in a Mizunara butt #6G5029 until bottling in 2006. This was bottled for the 50th Anniversary of La Maison Du Whisky.

Yamazaki 25 Year Old

A limited edition of around 100 bottles celebrating Japanese hospitality. This whisky has been matured for 25 years in the finest Oloroso sherry casks.

The seal on the bottle is a Mizuhiki, a five corded knot symbolising the joining of hands.

Yoichi 1987 20 Year Old

A 20 year old Yoichi distilled in 1987 and bottled in 2007 at 55%.

Limited to 2,000 bottles.

Yamazaki Sherry Cask 2016 75cl / US Import

Matured in Oloroso sherry casks, aged between 12 and 15 years old and even 25 years old, blended together with older single malt stock by chief blender Shinji Fukuyo.

This bottling is the follow up to the famous 2013 release which won 'Best Whisky in the World' according to Jim Murray and his Whisky Bible.

5000 bottles were produced which is less than third of the quantity of the previous release of Yamazaki Sherry Cask, of which there were approximately 16,000 bottles.

Distilled Febuary 1990 and matured until June 2008.

Matured in cask number ON70646, which was a Spanish Oak Sherry Butt.

Laphroaig 80 Proof / 20 Under Proof Miniature 1960s

This is about as rare a miniature as you can find, dated to 1966 kindly by Marcel Van Gils and Hans Offringa Legend of Laphroaig's book, this is a wonderfully preserved miniature of Laphroaig.

The label reads, Old Scotch Whisky Laphroaig 80 Proof.

Strength is 20 under proof.

This has been stored within an exceptional collection of miniatures. A very very rare item we are excited to offer this in our latest auction, particularly alongside another stunning example of Laphroaig's history, in miniature - a 1960s bottling of Islay Mist.

Laphroaig Cairdeas 30 Year Old

Exclusively only available at Laphroaig distillery or on their website this 30 year old Cairdeas release is a combination of approximately 60% sherry casks and 40% bourbon casks, which were then married together in bourbon casks before bottling.

This is bottle 441 of 1,536.

Yamazaki Mizunara Cask 2013

Yamazaki has been thrust into the spot light after their Sherry Cask release of 2013 received the title of Best Whisky in the World title from Jim Murray.  

They release several other limited annual releases including this Mizunara matured bottling.    

Mizunara (Japanese Oak) is famous for imparting it's own characteristics onto the whisky stored within them such as sandalwood and other notes.

A stunning bottling of the lost distillery of Lochside from the Scotch Malt Whisky Society.  

Distilled in March 1966 and bottled in September 1998 at 32 years old.

Ladyburn 1973 27 Year Old Single Cask 

The Ladyburn Distillery was built in 1966 by William Grant & Sons Ltd and only operated for a very short period until November 15th 1975.  

Their have been very few bottlings from Ladyburn, this official single cask release is part of 18 single casks from 1973 bottled in 2000, a release totaling 3,000 bottles.  Each individual bottle carries the bottling number and cask it originated from.

This is bottle number 60 from cask number 1590. 

Longmorn 1964 Gordon and MacPhail 46 Year Old

Distilled in December 1964 and matured in Single First fill sherry hogshead number 5414, which was bottled in June 2011 by Gordon and MacPhail. 

One of 378 bottles.

Distilled in April 2003 and then matured for 11 years in a 1st Fill Sherry Butt.

With only 2,772 bottles released world wide this latest edition of Lagavulin 21 year old was highly sought after at it's released in Novemeber 2012.

Wholly matured in first fill ex-sherry casks, distilled in 1991 and bottled in 2012.

Littlemill 1965 Silent Stills 31 Year Old 

A fantastic presentation pack from Signatory Vintage of Littlemill distilled on 25th October 1965 and bottled on 15th May 1997.

This 31 year old bottling from this closed distillery was matured in single cask #5273, this is bottle number 132 of 180.

The Silent Stills packs contain a 70cl bottle, 5cl miniature and replica bung.

A Rosebank distilled in November 1974 and bottled by Signatory Vintage in March 1992  for The Whisky Fair .
