Macallan 1949 Millennium 50 Year Old

An amazing bottle of whisky, released by Macallan to commemorate the turn of the millennium.   This whisky is among the most desirable and sought after whiskies on the market, it represents the most luxurious of Macallan, not only in presentation and quality, but also in rarity and age.

Distilled on 14th January 1949 and released as a 50 year old, presented in an elegant decanter designed by Caithness Glass along with a stopper and an impressive 'fitted' lockable hard wood case.  The copper used for the ingot and neck were retrieved from No.9 spirit still at Macallan distillery.

Includes an unregistered certificate and key, this is one of 900 bottles released.

There are a few minor scratches to the wood, please see images.

Hanyu 1985 Ace of Spades Single Cask #9308

Perhaps the second most talked about bottle within Ichiro Akuto's famous Card Series of whiskies.  The Ace of Spades was released in 2006 and comes from a traditional oak cask that was re-racked into a single Spanish oak sherry butt #9308 before bottling in 2006.

Distilled in 1985 and bottled as a 21 year old, this highly sought after edition was limited to only 300 bottles, this is bottle number 50.

Hanyu 1990 Queen of Hearts Single Cask #9102 

The Queen of Hearts was distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2006.

Matured in a traditional hogshead before a second period of maturation in a french oak cognac wood, cask # 9102.

This bottle is only number 22 of 324.

Yamazaki 1984

Matured in native Japanese 'Mizunara' oak casks, as well as the American and European ones. This whisky was named World's Best Single Malt Whisky at the 2011 World Whisky Awards.

Hanyu 1991 Ichiro's Malt 'Card' #9001 / Jack of Clubs​

A single cask #9001 Hanyu bottled within the Ichiro's Malt series of whiskies.

Distilled in 1991 and matured in a hogshead before being moved into a American oak sherry butt for a second maturation period prior to being bottled in 2006.

Macallan 1956 

Distilled in 1956, this stunning old Macallan was bottled by Campbell, Hope and King, Elgin at 80 proof.

Hanyu 1988 King of Diamonds Single Cask #9003

A Single cask Hanyu distilled in 1988 and matured in a hogehads prior to being finished in an American Oak Sherry Butt and bottled 2006. 

Bottle number 177 of 555. 

Yamazaki 1986 Owner's Cask Mizunara Butt #6G5029

Single cask Yamazaki's are very rare and hard to find these days.

This single cask was distilled in 1986 and matured in a Mizunara butt #6G5029 until bottling in 2006. This was bottled for the 50th Anniversary of La Maison Du Whisky.

Hanyu 1990 Queen of Spades Single Cask #466

Distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2010. 

Originally bottled in a hogshead then finished in a port pipe.

Macallan 1937 Gordon and MacPhail Crystal Decanter

An elegant Edinburgh Crystal decanter containing 1937 Macallan.

Macallan 1965 / The Macallan Decanter 25 Year Old

An absolutely beautifully presented Macallan Decanter, distilled in 1965 and bottled at 25 years old.

The hand blown, English crystal decanter is often referred to as the 'Tudor Decanter'.  The writing on the decanter is difficult to make out on the images but carries a large 'M'.

Includes a well designed branded Macallan box and crystal stopper, on which the vintage 1965 is displayed.

Hanyu 1990 Ichiro's Malt 'Card' #9032 / Ten of Clubs​

Distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2008 from single cask #9032.

Matured in a hogshead and finished in a Pedro Ximenez Sherry Butt

Hibiki 30 Year Old Kacho Fugetsu Limited Edition

This 30 year old Hibiki is the top end of their range and part of their appreciation of the beauty of Japanese nature. The special limited release was exclusive to Travel Retail in 2015.

Yamazaki 25 Year Old

A limited edition of around 100 bottles celebrating Japanese hospitality. This whisky has been matured for 25 years in the finest Oloroso sherry casks.

The seal on the bottle is a Mizuhiki, a five corded knot symbolising the joining of hands.

Macallan 1967 Duncan Taylor 40 Year Old / Including Miniature​ 

A Macallan distilled in September 1967 and bottled in October 2007 by Duncan Taylor within their Peerless range of whiskies.

Matured in cask number 7683.

Macallan 1972 Anniversary Malt 25 Year Old

Distilled in 1972 and fortunate enough to be matured for 25 years before bottled as a Macallan's Anniversary Malt.

Yoichi 1987 20 Year Old

A 20 year old Yoichi distilled in 1987 and bottled in 2007 at 55%.

Limited to 2,000 bottles.

Yamazaki Sherry Cask 2016 75cl / US Import

Matured in Oloroso sherry casks, aged between 12 and 15 years old and even 25 years old, blended together with older single malt stock by chief blender Shinji Fukuyo.

This bottling is the follow up to the famous 2013 release which won 'Best Whisky in the World' according to Jim Murray and his Whisky Bible.

5000 bottles were produced which is less than third of the quantity of the previous release of Yamazaki Sherry Cask, of which there were approximately 16,000 bottles.

Macallan 30 year old Fine Oak edition matured in a mixture of European and American oak casks.

Macallan Diamond Jubilee

Released in 2012 this specially designed bottle bears a unique image of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II created by the sculptor Arnold Martin.

The contents of this bottle were specially chosen for the months it was drawn from the casks, 6th February, the Queen's accession and the first week in June, traditionally when the Jubilees are celebrated.  Bottled at 52% in line with the year of the Queen's accession, only 2,012 bottles were released.
