Wolfburn Inaugural Release

Located in Thurso, which is the Northern most distillery on the UK mainland. Based around a long lost distillery that ended around 1850, this new Wolfburn reopened in 2013. 

This is their first single malt release.

There have been 875 bottles released, 100 of which were for the UK. This is presented in a hand crafted wooden box. 

This is bottle number 439 of 875.

A classic blend from the golden age of blending; likely bottled during the late 1950s or early 1960s, with the old spring cap.

Please note there are no markings for volume or strength. 

Willett Family Estate 22 Year Old Single Barrel Bourbon #B52

An exclusive release from cask #B52, which means that it was produced at Bernheim distillery, so will have a high wheat content mashbill.

Bottle number 39 of 106. 

Whistlepig 11 Year Old Straight Rye Whiskey

A straight rye whisky, finished in bourbon wood and hand bottled at Whistlepig farm. 

11 Years old and bottled at 111 Proof.

Woodford Reserve Master's Collection Four Grain

Released in 2006, this was one of the first releases in Woodford's Master's collection. This combination of of four grains in a mashbill, is copper pot distilled and then aged in American white oak for 9 years.  

Elijah Craig 23 Year Old Single Barrel

The 23 year old single barrel Elijah Craig was matured in a single charred oak barrel.

Barreled on 30th March 1990 barrel number 131.

Released in very limited quantities.

Wild Turkey 101 Proof 8 Year Old

Wolfburn Kylver Series Limited Edition

Located in Thurso, which is the Northern most distillery on the UK mainland. Based around a long lost distillery that ended around 1850, this new Wolfburn reopened in 2013. 

This is one of their first small batch releases as part of the Caithness Viking Festival. Only available in Thurso, with a donation from each sale going to the event organisers.

Île de Ré Cognac XO SMWS C1

This is the first ever Scotch Malt Whisky Society bottling of Cognac. This is an XO release bottled at cask strength. 

C1 is called \"Nectar Céleste\" and is a fine Island Cognac, which implies that it is made from grapes grown on Île de Ré, the location Camus gets its grapes from.

One of 450 bottles.

William Grant and Sons 25 Year Old Rare and Extraordinary

A 25 year old blended Malt created by Master Blender David Stewart; using whisky from across Scotland.  

Released to celebrate achieving three Queens Awards for Export Achievement in: 1974, 1989 and 1996, along with winning \"Distiller of the Year\" in 1999 and 2000.

Willet Family Estate Reserve 8 Year Old Single Barrel Straight Rye

A single cask rye matured in White Oak barrel #55 for 8 years. 

Willet bottle some exceptional whiskies, which are incredibly difficult to find outside of the US.

A single cask Edradour bottled at cask strength in an ibsco decanter.

Distilled on the 15th May 2000 and then bottled on the 16th of February 2015 from Cask number #2001.

Enmore Guyana Rum 1990 Renegade 16 Year Old

There was a time in the mid 2000s when Murray McDavid were bottling Rum at Bruichladdich. 

This is been created from fermented molassess and distilled in a versailles still in Guyana, matured in American oak and finished Madeira casks.

Elixir di China Calisaia Liquore 1950s

Originally developed as a medicine to help fight malaria in the late 18th / early 19th century, with the gradual disapearance of the disease in Europe the elixir later became merely a bitter digestif.

Made of extracts taken from the bark of  the China calisaia plant which contains quinine.
