Wolfburn Inaugural Release

Located in Thurso, which is the Northern most distillery on the UK mainland. Based around a long lost distillery that ended around 1850, this new Wolfburn reopened in 2013. 

This is their first single malt release.

There have been 875 bottles released, 100 of which were for the UK. This is presented in a hand crafted wooden box. 

This is bottle number 439 of 875. 

White Horse Circa 1950s

A classic blend from the golden age of blending; likely bottled during the late 1950s or early 1960s, with the old spring cap.

Please note there are no markings for volume or strength. 

Willett Family Estate 22 Year Old Single Barrel Bourbon #B52

An exclusive release from cask #B52, which means that it was produced at Bernheim distillery, so will have a high wheat content mashbill.

Bottle number 39 of 106. 

Whistlepig 11 Year Old Straight Rye Whiskey

A straight rye whisky, finished in bourbon wood and hand bottled at Whistlepig farm. 

11 Years old and bottled at 111 Proof.

Woodford Reserve Master's Collection Four Grain

Released in 2006, this was one of the first releases in Woodford's Master's collection. This combination of of four grains in a mashbill, is copper pot distilled and then aged in American white oak for 9 years.

Wolfburn Kylver Series Limited Edition

Located in Thurso, which is the Northern most distillery on the UK mainland. Based around a long lost distillery that ended around 1850, this new Wolfburn reopened in 2013. 

This is one of their first small batch releases as part of the Caithness Viking Festival. Only available in Thurso, with a donation from each sale going to the event organisers.

This is one of their first single malt releases. The Kylver series has a cask \"that is doing something different\". 

William Grant and Sons 25 Year Old Rare and Extraordinary

A 25 year old blended Malt created by Master Blender David Stewart; using whisky from across Scotland.  

Released to celebrate achieving three Queens Awards for Export Achievement in: 1974, 1989 and 1996, along with winning \"Distiller of the Year\" in 1999 and 2000.

Fochabers Bicentenary Blended Scotch Whisky / Gordon and MacPhail

Fochabers is a town in Moray and in 1976 the town celebrated its Bicentinary. This was bottled by Gordon and MacPhail in celebration. 

Famous Grouse Scottish Oak Finish

Bottled in 2005 this is a blend of Scottish whisky finshed in Scottish oak.

Fukano Distillery Single Cask #282  K&L Wines Exclusive 75cl / US import

Fukano is situated within the city of Kumamoto on the southern island of Kyushu has been distilling since 1823.

They're famous for a diverse offering of Shochus and high quality liqueurs, but a tiny portion of their production is devoted to malted rice distillation. In Japan, these old whiskies are not bottled as such, though they do meet the definition by American standards.

This rare spirit is aged much like bourbon in new charred oak casks. The result is something absolutely sublime and uniquely Japanese.

80:20 Glenmorangie

Yet another delightful whisky accident which happened back in 1999 when mistakenly 80% Glenmorangie 21 Year old casks were mixed with 20% of something else.  It is worrying that this has happend a number of times at Glenmorangie.

Perhaps it's obvious to see where the name comes from, what serendipity.
