Wolfburn Inaugural Release

Located in Thurso, which is the Northern most distillery on the UK mainland. Based around a long lost distillery that ended around 1850, this new Wolfburn reopened in 2013. 

This is their first single malt release.

There have been 875 bottles released, 100 of which were for the UK. This is presented in a hand crafted wooden box. 

This is bottle number 439 of 875. 

White Horse Circa 1950s

A classic blend from the golden age of blending; likely bottled during the late 1950s or early 1960s, with the old spring cap.

Please note there are no markings for volume or strength. 

Willett Family Estate 22 Year Old Single Barrel Bourbon #B52

An exclusive release from cask #B52, which means that it was produced at Bernheim distillery, so will have a high wheat content mashbill.

A straight rye whisky, finished in bourbon wood and hand bottled at Whistlepig farm. 

11 Years old and bottled at 111 Proof.

Released within the infamous and eagerly awaited Buffalo Trace Antique Selection. 

William L Weller bottlings tend to contain whiskey aged for approximately 10 to 14 years.  In recent years the William Weller bottlings have been harder to get hold of.

Ichiro's Blend for Isetan / Hanyu and Kawasaki

An exclusive blend produced by Ichiro Akuto the owner of Chichibu distillery and the man responsible for bringing Hanyu and Karuizawa casks to the market.  

This blend was produced for Isetan, Singapore and is a blend of Hanyu and Kawasaki both closed distilleries.  Aged between 12 and 35 years old, released October 2012.

Imperial 1979 Cadenhead's 22 Year Old

A lovely rich looking Imperial distilled in 1979 and bottled in February 2002 at 22 years of age.

Matured in a sherry hogshead , this is one of only 192 bottles.

A blend from Ichiro Akuto that was exclusively bottled for three Japanese companies.

Bottle in November 2015 from a single cask of this blend #4084 at full cask strength - rather out of the ordinary as the regular Malt and Grain is bottled at 46%.

One of 262 bottles.

Ichiro's Malt Double Single Malts

Ichirio has combined two single malts, a Japanese single malt distilled in 2008 with a Scottish single malt distilled in 2007 and matured in Japan.

Bottle number 117 of 500.

Woodford Reserve Master's Collection Four Grain

Released in 2006, this was one of the first releases in Woodford's Master's collection. This combination of of four grains in a mashbill, is copper pot distilled and then aged in American white oak for 9 years.

Inverleven 1973 Deoch an Doras 37 Year Old

Distilled in 1973 and bottled in 2011, This is from the closed Lowland single malt distillery of Inverleven. 

This was part of the Dumbarton distillery complex where malt production ceased in 1991.

Inchmurrin 1966 Bottled 1999

An official bottling from Loch Lomond.  Loch Lomond produce quite an array of different spirits Inchmurrin is apprently the sixth and most heavily peated spirit.

Distilled in 1966 and bottled August 1999.

This was part of the Dumbarton distillery complex where malt production ceased in 1991.

Inchgower 1976 Rare Malt 27 Year Old

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

Distilled in 1976 and bottled as a 27 year old, there were only two releases of Inchgower under the Rare Malt Selection.

Wolfburn Kylver Series Limited Edition

Located in Thurso, which is the Northern most distillery on the UK mainland. Based around a long lost distillery that ended around 1850, this new Wolfburn reopened in 2013. 

This is one of their first small batch releases as part of the Caithness Viking Festival. Only available in Thurso, with a donation from each sale going to the event organisers.

Wolfburn Kylver Series Limited Edition

Located in Thurso, which is the Northern most distillery on the UK mainland. Based around a long lost distillery that ended around 1850, this new Wolfburn reopened in 2013. 

This is one of their first single malt releases. The Kylver series has a cask \"that is doing something different\". 

Islay Mist Miniature 1960s

Another incredibly rare miniature under the hammer in our July sale. It's not always single malts that should gain attention and this incredibly rare example of Islay Mist can stand tall beside the Laphroaig 20 Under Proof found here.

Bottled by the owners of Laphroaig D.Johnston & Co estimated again to be in the 1960s, courtesy of the book Legend of Laphroaig.

Imperial - Glenlivet 1979 Cadenhead's 20 Year Old

Distilled in 1979 and bottled in May 2000, by Cadenhead's.

Matured in a bourbon hogshead, this one of only 234 bottles.

A wonderful example of this closed Speysider.

William Grant and Sons 25 Year Old Rare and Extraordinary

A 25 year old blended Malt created by Master Blender David Stewart; using whisky from across Scotland.  

Released to celebrate achieving three Queens Awards for Export Achievement in: 1974, 1989 and 1996, along with winning \"Distiller of the Year\" in 1999 and 2000.

Ireland 1989 Whisky Agency Single Cask 26 Year Old

Distilled in 1989 and bottled 2015, this is a mystery Irish single malt whiskey bottled by The Whisky Agency. 

Joint bottling with La Maison Du Whisky, France

Inverleven 1977 Duncan Taylor 26 Year Old

Distilled in September 1977 and matured in cask 3095 until March 2003. 

Inverleven is a closed Lowland distillery and was part of the Dumbarton distillery complex.

This is bottle number 109 of 168. 

Imperial 1990 Gordon and MacPhail Cognac Finish

Distilled in 1990 and bottled in August 2000 by Gordon and MacPhail.

Mothballed in 1998, Imperial distillery has been completely demolished and is becoming increasingly sought after. 

This Imperial has been finished in cognac wood. Bottle number 735 of 4500. 

Willet Family Estate Reserve 8 Year Old Single Barrel Straight Rye

A single cask rye matured in White Oak barrel #55 for 8 years. 

Willet bottle some exceptional whiskies, which are incredibly difficult to find outside of the US.
