Yamazaki 1984

Matured in native Japanese 'Mizunara' oak casks, as well as the American and European ones. This whisky was named World's Best Single Malt Whisky at the 2011 World Whisky Awards.

Single cask Yamazaki's are very rare and hard to find these days.

This single cask was distilled in 1986 and matured in a Mizunara butt #6G5029 until bottling in 2006. This was bottled for the 50th Anniversary of La Maison Du Whisky.

A limited edition of around 100 bottles celebrating Japanese hospitality. This whisky has been matured for 25 years in the finest Oloroso sherry casks.

The seal on the bottle is a Mizuhiki, a five corded knot symbolising the joining of hands.

Matured in Oloroso sherry casks for between 12 and 15 years, this whisky recently won 'Best Whisky in the World' according to Jim Murray and his Whisky Bible.

Yoichi 1987 20 Year Old

A 20 year old Yoichi distilled in 1987 and bottled in 2007 at 55%.

Limited to 2,000 bottles.

Yamazaki Sherry Cask 2016 75cl / US Import

Matured in Oloroso sherry casks, aged between 12 and 15 years old and even 25 years old, blended together with older single malt stock by chief blender Shinji Fukuyo.

This bottling is the follow up to the famous 2013 release which won 'Best Whisky in the World' according to Jim Murray and his Whisky Bible.

5000 bottles were produced which is less than third of the quantity of the previous release of Yamazaki Sherry Cask, of which there were approximately 16,000 bottles.

Springbank 1967 24 Year Old 75cl / US Import

An official bottling from Springbank. 

Distilled in April 1967 and bottled in January 1992 then exported to the USA.

Distilled Febuary 1990 and matured until June 2008.

Matured in cask number ON70646, which was a Spanish Oak Sherry Butt.

Yamazaki Mizunara Cask 2013

Yamazaki has been thrust into the spot light after their Sherry Cask release of 2013 received the title of Best Whisky in the World title from Jim Murray.  

They release several other limited annual releases including this Mizunara matured bottling.    

Mizunara (Japanese Oak) is famous for imparting it's own characteristics onto the whisky stored within them such as sandalwood and other notes.  

Springbank 30 Year Old Millennium Limited Edition

An older expression from this Campbeltown classic. This was bottled in March 1999 for the Millennium as part of a range of 6 bottles. 

The set comprised whiskies bottled at 25, 30, 35, 40, 45 and 50 years.
