A fantastic bottling Suntory whisky, first started in 1937 Suntory's Kakubin has been the core of Japanese whisky. 

In 70 years the square cut bottle has had very little change.

Distilled in 1995 and bottled in 2015.

Stock 84 Bollino Oro VSOP Brandy 1950s

This Italian brandy is produced in the stunning North Eastern Italian town of Trieste.  

The name 84 is given to this Brandy from the year that it was officially created 1884, we believe this bottle to have been produced in the 1960s.

Distilled in December 1991 and then bottled February 2004.

King George IV Gold Label Circa 1960s

An older blend primarily for the export market, this interesting old blend was produced by the Distillers Agency, Ltd (Now Diageo).

There is no markings for volume or ABV.

Springbank 12 Year Old Cask Strength

The much loved replacement to the Springbank 100 proof, the 12 year old released only a few years ago is incredibly popular.

Sikes' Hydrometer mid/late 19th Century

A complete Sikes' Hydrometer set manufactured by J. Lizars.

The set comprises of a mahogany box with red silk lining and fitted red velvet pad, which house the brass weights, hydrometer float and thermometer.

The lid has inset cartouche which reads 'SIKES' HYDROMETER J. LIZARS. GLASGOW. EDINBURGH ETC.'

These sets were produced in the mid to late 19th century for use by customs officials in the testing of alcoholic strength of distilled whisky/spirit once the cask had been removed from it's bonded warehouse and duty was required by law to be calculated and paid.

A fascinating piece of history surrounding the production process of Scotch Whisky.

There is a small 2cm tear in the red silk lining at the top right corner of the lid and it is a little threadbare in other areas but overall the condition is good. Please see image.

A single barrel 9 year old full proof Kentucky straight bourbon, a high rye content mash bill from Jim Beam distillery. Bottled at 120 Proof (60%) for the Asian market.

Kilchoman Autumn 2009 Release

Matured for 3 years in bourbon casks before a brief finishing period in Oloroso sherry casks.

10,000 bottles were produced.

Bog standard 10 year old Springbank... which is no bad thing. Excellent whisky! 

Kilchoman New Make Miniature Selection 3 x 5cl

Three miniatures of Kilchoman New Make Spirit.

Distilled on 6th December 2006 produced from Optic barley and matured for a very short period in bourbon/sherry casks before bottling at 63.5%.

The classic vintage Knockando from after they stopped being presented in a wooden box and started using the \"new\" style tube.

London Dry is a style of gin named for where it was first created, and so does not have Protected Geographical status.  Indeed many London Dry Gins are distilled outside of London, as is the case in this old gin, distilled by Glenaber Distillers of Lisbon, Portugal.
