Laphroaig 80 Proof / 20 Under Proof Miniature 1960s

This is about as rare a miniature as you can find, dated to 1966 kindly by Marcel Van Gils and Hans Offringa Legend of Laphroaig's book, this is a wonderfully preserved miniature of Laphroaig.

The label reads, Old Scotch Whisky Laphroaig 80 Proof.

Strength is 20 under proof.

This has been stored within an exceptional collection of miniatures. A very very rare item we are excited to offer this in our latest auction, particularly alongside another stunning example of Laphroaig's history, in miniature - a 1960s bottling of Islay Mist.

Laphroaig Cairdeas 30 Year Old

Exclusively only available at Laphroaig distillery or on their website this 30 year old Cairdeas release is a combination of approximately 60% sherry casks and 40% bourbon casks, which were then married together in bourbon casks before bottling.

This is bottle 441 of 1,536.

Longmorn 1964 Gordon and Macphail 46 Year Old

Distilled in March 1964 and in Single First fill sherry hogshead number 1534, which was bottled in June 2010 by Gordon and MacPhail.

Tony Koerhl Series Creative Whisky Company 4 x 70cl

This collection is called  \"Sketch the soul\" Series by Tony Koehl. They were bottled by the Creative Whisky Company.

The range contains four bottles

• A 20 year old Caperdonich distilled on the 2nd of October 1992 and matured in cask 121137. One of 300 bottles.
• A 17 Year Old Imperial distilled on 22nd May 1995. One on 279 bottles,
• A 23 year old little mill Littlemill distilled in December 1990 and then matured in single cask number 36. One of 176 bottles.
• A 22 year old Glen Keith distilled in 1991 then bottled in 2013. Drawn from single cask number 73663,  which yielded 188 bottles.

Ladyburn 1973 27 Year Old Single Cask 

The Ladyburn Distillery was built in 1966 by William Grant & Sons Ltd and only operated for a very short period until November 15th 1975.  

Their have been very few bottlings from Ladyburn, this official single cask release is part of 18 single casks from 1973 bottled in 2000, a release totaling 3,000 bottles.  Each individual bottle carries the bottling number and cask it originated from.

This is bottle number 60 from cask number 1590. 

Longmorn 1964 Gordon and MacPhail 46 Year Old

Distilled in December 1964 and matured in Single First fill sherry hogshead number 5414, which was bottled in June 2011 by Gordon and MacPhail. 

One of 378 bottles.

Lagavulin 21 Year Old 1991

With only 2,772 bottles released world wide this latest edition of Lagavulin 21 year old was highly sought after at it's released in Novemeber 2012.

Wholly matured in first fill ex-sherry casks, distilled in 1991 and bottled in 2012.

Matured in a combination of refill American and European oak casks.

Littlemill 1965 Silent Stills 31 Year Old 

A fantastic presentation pack from Signatory Vintage of Littlemill distilled on 25th October 1965 and bottled on 15th May 1997.

This 31 year old bottling from this closed distillery was matured in single cask #5273, this is bottle number 132 of 180.

The Silent Stills packs contain a 70cl bottle, 5cl miniature and replica bung.

Laphroaig 15 Year Old 1980s

Stunning old bottle of Laphroaig bottled during the 1980s and well before the Royal Warrant was issued.

Please note the bag is too small for the whisky, this was a common problem with the release. 

Teeling 1988 Centenary Collection 24 Year Old

This limited release Teeling bottle to mark the Centenary of the start of World War 1, this is the inaugural release which will be followed by further releases each year until 2018.

A single cask from 1988 was chosen which yielded 250 bottles.Cask #10514.

A triple matured Lagavulin that's spent time in bourbon wood, PX casks and oak puncheons. 

Distilled in 1991 and personally selected by Iain McArthur, a warehouseman at Lagavulin with over 40 years experience. Then bottled exclusively for the Feis Ile in 2015.

The most recent Feis Ile offering from Lagavulin, distilled in 1995 and personally selected by Ian McArthur.

Matured in European oak sherry butts, as always Lagavulin never ceases to disappoint.

Lochside 1979 Douglas Laing 22 Year Old

Distilled in May 1979 and bottled December 2001.

Lochside stopped producing in the early 1990s.
