Kacho Fugetsu is the Japanese Kanji for Flowers, Birds, Breeze, and Lunar. This bottle is designed to embody the beauty of Japanese nature.

The Hibiki bottle always has 24 facets representing the 24 seasons of the Japanese lunar calendar.

Highland Park 1973 Dragon

A rare bottling and very highly regarded, this legendary Highland Park was distilled in 1973 and bottled by Robertsons of Kirkwall.

The Dragon from which this whisky takes its name comes from the 12th century carving in Maes Howe neolithic tomb, Orkney.

Bottled around 1990 at 75cl.

Bottled in 1991 this is a fantastic example of Highland Park distilled in the 1960s, presented in this attractive black box inlaid with a map of the Orkney isles.

Only 2,000 of the 1967 Highland Park were released.

Hanyu 2000 Whisky Talk 2012 

Limited to only 446 bottles this 2000 vintage Hanyu was bottled in 2012 to mark the Whisky Talk 2012 event in Fukuoka.

Highland Park Thor 16 Year Old

The first in Highland Park's Valhalla series released in 2012 which also comprises of  the Loki and Freya released over the next two consecutive years.

Highland Park 1973 Single Cask #11151

Highland Park bottled two single casks from October 1973, this is from cask #11151.

Highland Park intentionally released two sister casks, as an experiment to illustrate the changes made in cask.  The casks were filled, matured for 28 years and emptied on 22nd February 2001 at the same time.

Cask #11151 only yielded 500 bottles.

Highland Park Thor 16 Year Old

Hanyu 131.2 SMWS 13 Year Old 

The second bottling of Hanyu by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society, released from a 1st fill sherry butt this 13 year old whisky is extravagantly titled as 'Magic Carpet in a Sweetie Shop'.

One of only 646 bottles.

Lagavulin 21 Year Old 1991

With only 2,772 bottles released world wide this latest edition of Lagavulin 21 year old was highly sought after at it's released in Novemeber 2012.

Wholly matured in first fill ex-sherry casks, distilled in 1991 and bottled in 2012.

Bottle number 1817.

Littlemill 1965 Silent Stills 31 Year Old 

A fantastic presentation pack from Signatory Vintage of Littlemill distilled on 25th October 1965 and bottled on 15th May 1997.

This 31 year old bottling from this closed distillery was matured in single cask #5273, this is bottle number 132 of 180.

The Silent Stills packs contain a 70cl bottle, 5cl miniature and replica bung.

Hillside 1971 Rare Malt 25 Year Old

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

Hillside, more widely known as Glen Esk released a handful of Rare Malt bottlings, two of them were released in Europe from 1970 and 1971 as 25 years old.

This particular bottle was distilled in 1971 and bottled as a 25 year old in September 1997.

Highland Park 30 Year Old Spectator Edition

A collectible Highland Park 30 year old bottled for the 180th Anniversary of the 'Spectator' magazine.  

Only 180 bottles were produced and carry the signature of Andrew Neil, publisher of the magazine.

Lagavulin 1979 Distillers Edition / First Release

A bottle of the first ever distillers edition which was distilled in 1979 and bottled in 1997.

Finished in Pedro Ximenez casks.

Hillside / Glenesk 1969 Rare Malt 25 Year Old 75cl / US Import

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

Released within the Rare Malt Selection. Distilled in 1969 and bottled as a 25 year old at 61.9%. This is from the Glenesk distillery which was also known as Hillside, located in the north east Highlands the distillery closed in 1985 and then officially dismantled in 1996.

Bottle number 4976. 

Please note there is no box and the fill level which has fallen to mid shoulder. 

Hanyu 15 Year Old Ichiro’s Malt 

A fantastic release from Akuto Ichiro, this 15 year old was distilled in 1995 and bottled in 2010.

Hanyu, is increasingly popular at auction, the distillery was dismantled after closure in 2000 and has quickly taken pride of place alongside Karuizawa as the most in demand Japanese whiskies at auction.

Lagavulin 1991 Feis Ile 2015 24 Year Old

A triple matured Lagavulin that's spent time in bourbon wood, PX casks and oak puncheons. 

Distilled in 1991 and personally selected by Iain McArthur, a warehouseman at Lagavulin with over 40 years experience. Then bottled exclusively for the Feis Ile in 2015. 

Bottle number 2683 of 3500. 

Please note the bag is too small for the whisky, this was a common problem with the release. 

Highland Park Queen of the South 19 Year Old Single Cask

Bottled exclusively for the Dumfries Football Club getting to the cup final in 2008, this single cask Highland Park 19 year old was limited to 89 bottles, one for every year the Club had existed.

Hakushu 1997 Single Cask #BJ41521 / 10th Anniversary Whisky Live

Suntory's other excellent distillery which is often over looked for Yamazaki. This Hakushu was distilled in 1997 and matured in hogshead cask BJ 41521.

Bottled for the 10th Anniversary Whisky Live.

Lagavulin 1991 Feis Ile 2015 24 Year Old

A triple matured Lagavulin that's spent time in bourbon wood, PX casks and oak puncheons.

The most recent Feis Ile offering from Lagavulin, distilled in 1995 and personally selected by Ian McArthur.

Matured in European oak sherry butts, as always Lagavulin never ceases to disappoint.

Hakushu 1997 Single Cask #BD40264 / 10th Anniversary Owners Cask

Suntory's other excellent distillery which is often over looked for Yamazaki. This Hakushu was distilled in 1997 and matured in hogshead cask BD40264.

Lochside 1979 Douglas Laing 22 Year Old

Distilled in May 1979 and bottled December 2001.

Lochside stopped producing in the early 1990s. 

One of 276 bottles. 

Hillside / Glenesk 1971 Signatory Vintage 28 Year Old

Hillside distillery went through a high number of names before it's closure in 1985, it was also known as Glenesk, Glen Esk, North Esk and Highland Esk. 

This was distilled in February 1971 and bottled in February 2000 by Signatory vintage.

Highland Park Earl Magnus 15 Year Old

Named after the rule of Orkney in the 1100’s, Earl Magnus is the first edition of the trilogy consisting of; Earl Magnus, Saint Magnus and Earl Haakon.  A 15 year old, cask strength release within an outstanding wooden box and fashioned glass styled on bottles from 150 years ago, this quickly become a desirable Highland Park.

Only 5,976 of the Earl Magnus were created.

Linlithgow / St Magdalene 1982 Càrn Mòr Celebration of the Cask

The Celebration of the Cask range of whiskies; produced by Càrn Mòr are highly acclaimed, usually containing older and more limited examples of whiskies from their portfolio.

This is no different, released from the closed and highly sought after St Magdalene distillery.

Distilled on 6th October 1982 and bottled on 2nd June 2008 after full maturation in a refill sherry butt #2220.

This is bottle number 490 of 582.
