Matured in sherry casks for 16 years then hand bottled in April 2015.

Arran Westie 'Icons of Arran'

The follow up to the Arran Rowan Tree and the third in the Icons of Arran series, this bottle depicts Ruaraidh, Arran's beloved westie.

Distilled in 1998, matured in 22 ex-sherry hogsheads and bottled in 2010, only 6,000 were released.

Ardbeg Ardbog

Released as Ardbeg’s annual Feis Ile offering at the start of June, alongside Ardbeg distillery it was also released at Ardbeg Embassies. 

A vatting of 10 year old Ardbeg matured in bourbon casks with a ‘heart’ matured in Manzanilla sherry casks. 

Arran Devil’s Punch Bowl Chapter III           

Released in 2014, Arran’s third and final edition of the Devil's Punch Bowl

A vatting of consisting of  21 casks; 8 of which are Oloroso sherry casks, 8 French Oak Barriques and 5 bourbon casks. Following Chapter one and two, only 6,660 bottles were released.

Ardbeg Perpetuum Bicentenary Release

As Ardbeg distillery turns 200 years old there will no doubt be a few new limited releases, such as the Perpetuum.  

Released on Ardbeg Day 2015 (30th of May) this was available from Ardbeg Embassies world wide. 

Not to be confused with the distillery release, this has a slightly lower ABV and a box. 

Bowmore Dawn

Alternatively to the Bowmore Dusk, the Bowmore Dawn was partially finished in casks which previously held ruby port.

Bruichladdich 1986 Murray McDavid 15 Year Old

A single cask distilled in February 1986 and bottled in December 2001. 

Benriach 1996 Cask Strength and Carry On 16 Year Old

A single cask Benriach bottled as the second release within of Niel Ridley's and Joel Harrison's (Cask Strength Blog) dream to complete the A-Z of whisky.

This (B) Benriach was distilled in 1996 and bottled on July 12th from a PX Sherry Hogshead cask #5614.

Balvenie 17 Year Old Peated Cask

Released in 2010,  Balvenie Peated Cask is a combination of 17 year old  Balvenie finished in virgin oak blended with 17 year old Balvenie finished in casks that had previously been filled with unreleased 2001 vintage experimental heavily-peated Balvenie (perhaps used for blending purposes).

Arran Napoleon Cognac Single Cask

One of the older single casks finishes from Arran, this time in a Napoleon Cognac Cask from A.Hardy.

A 2007 limited edition named after the Lochindaal Lighthouse. 

Signed by Adam Hannett, Jim McEwen's replacement as Bruichladdich Distillery Manager and Allan Logan, Distillery Manager.

Bowmore Legend Goraidh Crobhan

An older style label from this classic Islay malt.

This limited edition release of Bowmore legend carries an artists illustration of the legend depicted on the rear of the bottle, Goraidh Crobhan/Godred Crovan killed a dragon with and an A-Team style plan and some Bowmore casks. 

Arran Port Cask US Import 75cl

Bottled July 2005 this is a single cask Port finished Arran. 

Bottle number 271 of 600. 

Ardbeg 1994 Cadenhead's 15 year old

A pre-closure 15 year old Ardbeg bottled by Cadenhead's.

One of 273 bottles.

Auchentoshan 21 Year Old

A more recent edition of Auchentoshan 21 year old.

Ardbeg Blasda

The tamed version of Ardbeg, well to a degree anyway, Ardbeg Blasda was peated to an average of 8ppm compared to the more usual 24ppm.  Rather controversially, the Blasda was also bottled in clear glass, at 40% and has been chill filtered, un-like Ardbeg's other releases which are typically un-chillfiltered and bottled in the iconic green bottle at 46% or above.

Now discontinued and becoming increasingly difficult to find.

Balvenie 15 Year Old Single Barrel / Sherry Cask

A classic, legendary speyside that has recently been revamped, this recent version of single barrel range was sherry matured. 

Balvenie 15 year old Single Barrel is from cask # 16293, this is bottle number 292.

No longer are we told the year of distillation or bottling.

Aberfeldy 21 Year Old

A very tasty Aberfeldy first introduced in 2005 and given a lovely 'make-over' in 2014.

Ardbeg Auriverdes US Import 75cl 

The new and shiny Ardbeg Auriverdes, launched on 31st May 2014 on 'Ardbeg Day' which coincides with the 'Ardbeg Day' with the Islay Festival.  

The Auriverdes (Auri = Gold and Verdes = Green) is named after the Brazilian sports teams colours whilst also referring to Ardbeg's iconic green bottle and the 'golden' whisky inside.

Bunnahabhain 1989 Berry Brothers and Rudd 21 Year Old

A single cask of Bunnahabhain distilled in 1989 and bottled in 2012. 

Blair Athol 8 Year Old 1970s

From the House of Bells, this Blair Athol is 8 years old, bottled during the late 1970s or early 1980s. 

Bladnoch 16 Year Old Sheep Label

A 16 year old expression from at the time would have been one of the smallest distilleries in Scotland. 

Bruichladdich 15 Year Old 1st Edition

The first 15 year old to be released after the re-opening of the distillery. 

Bruichladdich 1989 Full Strength 13 Year Old 

The 1st in the full strength releases from Bruichladdich, distilled in 1989 and bottled in 2002 at 57.1%

Bruichladdich Rocks 3rd Edition 75cl / US Import

A multi-vintage Bruichladdich, matured in bourbon casks and a further maturation in Grenache wine casks.

First introduced in 2007 this latest edition carries the grey rock tin with light blue overlay of text and information.

Benriach 2004 10th Anniversary 10 Year Old

The Benriach 10th Anniversary bottling was released in 2014 and commemorates the 10th anniversary of  Billy Walker and his two South African partners Geoff Bell and Wayne Kieswetter purchasing Benriach distillery.

On September 20th that year, the first distillation under the new owners was filled to cask. Ten years on, Billy Walker has married together four casks from the first week of production to create this limited bottling of 1106 bottles available for sale.

The four bourbon barrels are cask numbers #7257, 7258, 7259 and 7260  all distilled on September 21, 2004

Bowmore 1990 Prestonfield 20 Year Old

Distilled on 8th June 1990 and bottled exclusively for the Prestonfield Whisky company, this Bowmore was matured in a single hogshead for 20 years.
