Dailuaine 1976 The Whisky Agency 35 Year Old​ Romantiques​

An independently bottled Dailuaine, distilled in 1976 and bottled 35 years later by The Whisky Agency.

Delauriere Fine-Champagne Cognac Circa 1920/1940s​

An incredibly old bottle of Cognac bottled by Boutilliere Delauriere & Co.  Fine-Champagne Cognacs are distilled from grapes sourced only from the prestigious Grande-Champagne and Petite-Champagne sub-regions.

The sole label on this bottle declared \"Vieille Reserve\" (Old Reserve) indicating that this Cognac perhaps matured for a long period of time in oak casks before bottling.

We estimate this bottle to be from the early 20th Century, likely between 1920 and 1940. Similar bottles have been known to contain vintages of Cognac from the early 1800s.

Hillside / Glenesk 1970 Rare Malt 25 Year Old 20cl / 61.9%

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

Released within the Rare Malt Selection. Distilled in 1970 and bottled as a 25 year old at 61.1%. This is from the Glenesk distillery which was also known as Hillside, located in the north east Highlands the distillery closed in 1985 and then officially dismantled in 1996.

Highland Park 1986 Cadenhead's 30 Year Old

An independently bottled Highland Park distilled in 1986 and bottled 30 years later in 2016 by Cadenhead's.

Dallas Dhu 1981 Duncan Taylor 26 Year Old

Distilled in April 1981 and bottled in June 2008 as a 27 year old by Duncan Taylor.

Cask number #428 yielded 218 bottles, this is number 5.

Highland Park 1989 Artist Collection 25 Year Old

A release from La Maison Du Whisky's Artist range. 

Distilled on 1989 and bottled in 2016 from single hogshead #10526.

One of only 240 bottles. 

Dallas Dhu 1981 Duncan Taylor 26 Year Old

Distilled in April 1981 and bottled on June 2008 as a 26 year old by Duncan Taylor.

Cask number #428 yielded 218 bottles, this is number 57.

Highland Park One In a Million 12 Year Old

Bottled to celebrate the one millionth bottle of this Orkney distillery's core expression.

Only 800 bottles were created and giving to staff at Christmas in 2007.

Hakushu 1981 \"Kioke Shikomi\" Pure Malt 

There is a great deal of debate as to whether or not this is a single malt, Suntory were renowned for using the term \"Pure Malt\" for both single malts and blended malts and a high number of bloggers have stated that this is 100% Hakushu. 

The translation of ‘Kioke Shikomi’ seems strange because although it means “matured in a wooden tub”, 'kioke’ normally refers to a tub used for making sake.

Dalwhinnie 1973 29 Year Old / Cask Strength

Following the success of the 1966 Dalwhinnie 36 year old, this official release followed in 2003.

Distilled in 1973 and bottled as a 29 year old, this was also very well received by critics.

This particular bottling is from the now closed Dumbarton distillery.

Highland Park Hobbister

The first release of Highland Park's Keystone Series, a special collection marking the distillery's five Keystones of production.

Hobbister is a reference to Highland Park's peat moor, and if you have been lucky enough to try this very limited release bottling you'll appreciate why this land is so key this Whisky's impressive taste.

Damoiseau Millesime 1980 Rhum Vieux 18 Year Old

Rhums Damoiseau are distilled in the French Caribbean island of Guadeloupe from 100% fresh-pressed sugarcane and no molasses - this results in a fresh character rum without any rubberiness.

After distillation, the rum is stocked in oak barrels that have previously been used for bourbon.  Given the hot climate in Guadeloupe, the casks experience an evaporation rate of almost 50% after 10 years, while also imparting into the spirit a light brown colour.

Hampden 1992 Silver Seal 23 Year Old Jamaican Rum

This rum is is distilled in Jamaica at Hampden Distillery, one of their oldest distilleries, and bottled by the esteemed Silver Seal company. Jamaican rum are known for producing the heaviest, strongest and most ester-containing rums on the market.

One of only 248 bottled for Whisky Antique in support of the Rock No War charity who work in Africa.

Damoiseau Millesime 1980 Rhum Vieux 18 Year Old

This official bottling is the oldest rum from the Bellevue distillery we have auctioned yet, both in terms of age and vintage.  Note also, it has been bottled at full strength.
