Lagavulin 1976 37 Year Old

The oldest release of Lagavulin to date released late 2013 as part of Diageo's annual 'super premium' releases.

Distilled in 1976 and matured in refill American oak and European oak casks, yielding 1,868 bottles.

Laphroaig 30 Year Old

Presented in this wooden box, Laphroaig 30 year old was originally released in 2000.  

We rarely see well aged official bottlings from Islay, this well aged Laphroaig has only been out-matured by the 40 year old releases.

Hanyu 2000 Two of Clubs Single Cask

A single cask from closed Japanese distillery Hanyu and bottled as part of the Ichiro's Malt Series of whiskies.

Distilled in 2000 then matured in Hogshead before being finished in Cask 9500 which was a Japanese Oak Mizunara Hogshead.

Hanyu Ichiro's Malt The Joker 'Colour'

The 54th and final bottling in Ichiro's Card Series.

There are two Joker's released to complete the 54 bottle series, one in colour and one in Black and White.  This particular bottling is the Colour Joker, a vatting of 14 casks covering vintages from 1985, 1986, 1988, 1990, 1991 and 2000.  The casks used for this final bottling include a sherry butt, puncheon, hogshead, Cognac, chibidaru, Madeira hogshead and bourbon.

Only 3,640 bottles of this highly anticipated whisky have been made available.

Ladyburn 1973 Blackadder 38 Year Old

A very rare single cask Ladyburn bottled by Blackadder.

Distilled on 13th July 1973 and matured in single cask #4490 before being bottled in February 2012.

Lagavulin 25 Year Old

Released as part of Diageo's Super Premium malts.

From 1977 this 25 year old Lagavulin was released in 2002 and limited to 9,000 bottles.  Perhaps unsuprisingly it is a stunning whisky and is very highly rated indeed.

Hanyu 2000 Single Cask #957

A recent bottling of this increasingly sought after closed Japanese distillery.

Distilled in 2000 and bottled in 2014 for La Maison Du Whisky.

Bottled in 1991 this is a fantastic example of Highland Park distilled in the 1960s, presented in this attractive black box inlaid with a map of the Orkney isles.

A very limited bottling of Hazelwood aka Kininvie.  

This 15 year old single malt was gifted to staff members at the distillery and was released to celebrate the 105th birthday of Janet Sheed Roberts on August 13th 2006.

Bottled at 105 proof, 52.5% and was matured exclusively in first fill sherry casks.

Johnnie Walker Odyssey (Includes Two Glasses)

The very high end of Johnnie Walker created using the notes of Alexander Walker.

Highland Park Thor 16 Year Old

The first in Highland Park's Valhalla series released in 2012 which also comprises of  the Loki and Freya released over the next two consecutive years.

This 16 year old Highland Park is a limited edition of 23,000 bottles.

Hillside 1970 Rare Malt 25 Year Old

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

Hillside, more widely known as Glen Esk released a handful of  Rare Malt bottlings, two of them were released in Europe from 1970 and 1971 as 25 years old.

This particular bottled was distilled in 1970 and bottled as a 25 year old

Laphroaig 25 Year Old 2008 Release

Originally released in 2007, there have been numerous Laphroaig 25 year old's released annually. 

This 2008 release was fortunately bottled at a cask strength of 50.9%.

Laphroaig 1989 23 Year Old

A vintage Laphroaig released for the Swedish, Norwegian and Finnish markets.  

Distilled in 1989 and bottled 23 years later, only 1,800 bottles were released.

Highland Park Thor 16 Year Old

Hennessy Paradis Cognac Circa 1970s/1980s

Hennessy was established in 1979 and quickly became known as one of the World's most reknowned Cognac producers.  The Paradis is a blend of pver 100 eaux de vie from ages between 30 and 100 years old.

This release is from the 1970s/1980s and is presented in an elegant decanter and box.

A particularly rare bottle of Johnnie Walker bottled to commemorate the 400th Anniversary of the Burgh status to Kilmarnock in 1992, which coincidentally is how many of these bottles that were made.

A very limited bottling of Johnnie Walker Swing from Diageo, produced to thank all of the staff at the famous Hill Street Plant in Kilmarnock, when it finally closed in 2011.

A rare independant single cask Hakushu distilled in September 1999 and bottled as a 14 year old by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society.

Matured in a first fill Bota Corta Butt.
