Ardbeg 1974 Provenance 26 Year Old (US Import)  75cl / 55.0%

One of the legendary Ardbeg Provenance bottlings, distilled in 1974 and matured for 26 years until being released in early 2000, imported into the US by Brown-Forman, this is the fourth release.

These whiskies are highly acclaimed and desirable, including certificate and tartan insert.

This bottle carries the bottling date of 21st September 2000 and is bottle number 6127 bottled at 55.0%.

Please note the box lid hinges are loose but can be positioned correctly.

Ardbeg 1974 Provenance 26 Year Old (US Import)  75cl

These whiskies are highly acclaimed and desirable, the bottle and box are in perfect condition, including certificate and tartan insert.

Bottle number 1728 bottled at 54.7% the first of two releases into the US.

Ardbeg 2000 Lord Robertson Single Cask

A very rare bottling of Ardbeg bottled to commemorate Lord Robertson of Islay, a former Nato Secretary General.  

This cask was laid down on 27th April 2000 when Lord Robertson visited the distillery, for the charity Erskine.

Filled into bottle on 6th June 2010 from cask number #1217, this is bottle number 53.

Ardbeg 1972 Douglas Laing 28 Year Old

A very rare bottling of Ardbeg by Douglas Laing bottled exclusively for Alambic Classique.

Distilled in November 1972 and bottled in September 2001, aged for 28 years.

One of only 252 bottles.

Ardbeg Lord of the Isles 25 Year Old

The Ardbeg, Lord of the Isles 25 year old is a highly sought after and iconic Ardbeg, released between 2002 and 2007.

Named after the 'Lord of the Isles' who ruled the Western Isles and parts of Argyll between the 12th and 15th Centuries.

Includes certificate.

Ardbeg Supernova Committee Release

Released in 2009 to members of the Ardbeg Committee, the original Ardbeg Supernova was peated to 100 ppm.

In comparison to the following released only 2,400 bottles of this were produced!

Cardhu 12 Year Old 1960s

A very old bottling of Cardhu 12 year old, circa 1970s.  Includes a lovely leaflet explaining why Cardhu is so rare.

Caol Ila “ Rare Malts “ 21yo. Ltd. Edition

The Rare Malts are a Limited Edition series of cask-strength single malts, issued, and designed by Diagio to show off some of the lesser known distilleries in their Empire, most are now closed or mothballed and the bottlings sought after by collectors.  This 21yo. Caol Ila is bottle no. 6875 distilled in 1975 & bottled 1996 @ 61.3% and 70cl..  In original box, level is in the neck, entire package is pristine.

Distilled in 1969 and bottled in 2007, this is from the closed Speyside distillery Caperdonich.

Chieftain's Choice 1964 Highland 28 Year Old

Distilled March 1964, this is a mystery Highland single malt bottled by Ian MacLeod.

Released June 2010, Ardbeg Rollercoaster was strictly only available at the distillery or via Ardbeg.com.  However Ardbeg did not expect such demand, the website quickly broke and it did not take long for all 15,000 bottles to sell out.

Released to mark the 10^th anniversary of the Ardbeg Committee the Rollercoaster consists of ten vintages from 1997 to 2006

Ardbeg Day Feis Ile 2012

Released on June 1^st 2012 as Ardbeg’s annual Feis Ile bottling it was not only available at Ardbeg Distillery but also via 100 of Ardbeg’s ‘embassies’.

The hugely popular Ardbeg Day was a limited run of 12,000 bottles partially married in ex refill sherry casks used to mature whisky the Ardbeg Uigeadail.

Chieftain's Choice 1973 Speyside 20 Year Old

Distilled in September 1973 this is a 20 year old Speyside single malt.

Craigellachie 23 Year Old

The brand new Craigellachie 23 year old, the entire range has raised many peoples opinion of this relatively unknown Speyside distillery, one certainly to watch.

Craigduff 1973 Signatory Vintage 38 Year Old 

A very rare experimental whisky, produced at Strathisla distillery using heavily peated malt.  Occasionally there has been some controversy over the origin of Craigduff and some people have suggested it was actually produced at Glen Keith distillery, wherever it was produced it is extremely rare as only a handful of casks have ever been bottled independantly by Signatory Vintage.

Distilled on the 4th April 1973 and bottled on 8th June 2011, this 38 year old Craigduff was matured exclusively in a refill sherry butt, cask #2517.

Ardbeg Alligator Untamed Release

A fierce charring to the cask, an 'alligator char' provides the name for this whisky, aggressive heat when applied to the inside of the casks causes the cracking of the wood which re-sembles that of an Alligators skin. 

Following the acclaimed committee release, the un-tamed edition was released in 2011 and quickly sold out.

A single cask bottling from Sherry cask number 19313. Distilled 19/12/1996. 

This is bottle is 257. 

Ardbeg Supernova 2014 75cl (US Import)

Following in the footsteps of the previous Supernova release, this is a peaty as Ardbeg gets.  Sold exclusively to members of the Ardbeg Committee via Ardbeg Embassies worldwide, as you can imagine it was not available for long...

Ardbeg 1990 Airigh Nam Beist 2008

Ardbeg don't release many vintages these days, and the Airgh Nam Beist was one of the last.

Taking it's name from the Gaelic meaning of \"shelter\" or pasture, this whisky was distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2008 at 46%.

Ardbeg Serendipity 12 year old

The result of an accident when very year old Ardbeg gets mixed with 12 year old Glen Moray.

This blended malt was simply 20% Glen moray and 80% Ardbeg.

Released in 2005, there were 16,000 bottles made available.

Caol Ila Feis Ile 2010

Distilled in August 1999 then matured in a sherry cask number 305646 then bottled at cask strength. 

This is bottle 475. 

Ardbeg 1990 Airigh Nam Beist 2006 [Arry nam baysht]

Ardbeg don't release many vintages at all now, and the Airgh Nam Beist was one of the last, prior to the Galileo.

Taking it's name from the Gaelic meaning of \"shelter\" or pasture, this whisky was distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2006 at 46%.

Taking it's name from the Gaelic meaning of \"shelter of the beast\", this is the name of one of the two lochs near to Ardbeg along with Uigeadail , this whisky was distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2008 at 46%.

Caol Ila 1998 Feis Ile 2013

Release in June 2013 for the annual Feis Ile, this Caol Ila was specially selected by Billy Stitchell.

Bottle number 0411 of 3,000

Billy said this about how the whisky matured:

“Spirit distilled in 1998 has been triple-cask matured. For 12 years it rested in a combination of Refill Butts, Hogsheads and Barrels. The vatted whisky was then allowed to mature for several months in active hogshead casks to impart a spicy/oaky note to the existing delicate Caol Ila smoke. Finally it was treated to a final gentle maturation in European oak.”

Released for the annual Feis Ile, in 2011 this Caol Ila was hand selected by Billy Mitchell and was matured in sherry cask 301696.

Distilled in 2001, matured in sherry butt number 300897 then bottled for the Feis Ile 2012 at cask strength.
